>he saved the disobedient toasters
He saved the disobedient toasters
My ending.
The Geth did nothing wrong and the stupid Suitrats started a war with them in the middle of a Reaper invasion.
I bet they all dream about geth robo dick.
Why were the Geth religious, was it ever explained? I can't remember
>Back to back ME threads in 2020
What's going on?
To cope.
New game soon. Actually no, Anthem 2.0.
they were basically hacked by the reapers.
Yas Forums ME threads in 2020 are built on an engine of waifu posters and seething fans of the first game.
Some sort of event that forces people to stay home and nothing better to do
What's behind the tentacles? A skull or a brain?
it's 2020
we're living in the future
and the world is a collapsing shithole
might as well play games about the future that we should have had
Bringing Legion onboard the Quarian enclave was pretty funny
Should be skull. I think tentacles are only semi rigid.
They were approached by Sovereign and a minority of the Geth arrived at a different consensus to the rest. It's not brilliantly explained.
I wish doing so didn't make completing all the loyalty missions a pain in the ass. Tali and Legions are always the last to be finished.
There's like a bony anchor there that their tentacle faces are connected to, sort of like a cuttlefish bone.
sorry guys the thing i was waiting for is done so i cant collect your ME2 fag (you)s this thread. enjoy your talifag and therapy circle jerk in peace. ill leave you with this. i think we all wanted ME to be great but none of us have the same idea on how that happens. perhaps this mirrors a conflict with its creation. there were so many possibilities, but not one that can appease everyone. at the end of the day all you can do is hug your space wife and play your preferred ME game. passionate fans, we all deserved better.
>support the geth and get the migrant fleet destroyed
>pick destroy ending and have the space beam wipe out the geth
>keep the genophage running
>kill the rachni
Humanity first.
yeah, I had no idea that the companion quest and the ship upgrades would be much of a big deal...
Fucking everyone died
Yes, love your space wives.
Terra Firma borther hell yeah
there all great games
however they all have flaws
me1 combat and copy paste layouts
me2 rpg system and a stutter in the writing of the plot overall
me3 mostly the plot direction
i still replay the trilogy every couple of years
and Andromada
How do I quit Miri?
>i think we all wanted ME to be great but none of us have the same idea on how that happens
That's what makes its downfall so rage-inducing. Everybody falls in love with some different aspect of the game be it lore, characters, space politics, waifus, whatever, and then ME3 has a unique way of crushing each and every one of those aspects.
i unironically have no problems with ME1’s combat or the copy paste layouts on random worlds. makes sense a company like say Kassa Fabrication or whatever would make prefab buildings to ship out to barren rocks for mining operations.
imagine a world where they made good ME spin offs catered to the different attributes people loved.
>an exploration focused game
for mako fags and atmospheric barren space rock enthusiasts like myself
>play as a merc build a squad workshop
for the more intimate and character driven fans who dont need an over the top plot
>a stand alone MP title
for the ME3MP bros
you could just make infinite games in the universe focusing on the individual aspects people loved without trying to do literally everything for everyone at once and going oh shit oh fuck what do we do when it come time to end it.
>Ever siding with the Quarians
I honestly think the Quarians are the worst facet of ME3's writing. Everyone shits on the ending, but the Quarians get FUCKED.
>Tali canonically betrays Shepard by sending classified Normandy tech to the flotilla
>Quarians start a suicidal war in the middle of the Reaper invasion
>Tali's exile or exoneration means nothing, the one time you see her try to flex rank as an Admiral literally everyone just ignores her
>Quarians break galactic arms treaties by turning civilian ships into dreadnoughts
>Also, throwing civilians at the geth because "oh well who cares if we're dead if we're not on Rannoch"
>Geth aren't even living on Rannoch and don't care who has it, ME3 implies they never even tried peace with the Geth
>Quarians bomb a ship with their greatest ally on it and lack the decency to even apologize
>The ONLY difference between Geth ending and the Peace ending is that Shepard tells the Quarians to not shoot first
>Entire Quarian-Geth arc ruined by the existence of the Destroy ending anyway
Fuck the Quarians. Tali is unfuckable because she acts like a 15 year old anyway.
Of course i saved them so the quarians have to live with them
All lives are worth saving
>lives
You're literally throwing everything at the wall, to see what sticks, ain'tcha?
Yeah it’s disappointing because their development in Tali’s loyalty mission from ME2 is great. Learning about all the competing political factions on the admiralty board was bangin and then it all goes down the shitter in ME3.
The Adas Anti-Synthetic Rifle is the best gun in the series though. We have them to thank for that.
>15 year olds
>unfuckable
>Actually no, Anthem 2.0.
Anthem 2.0 is on a race to release in 2021. I'm really hoping it won't get delayed to 2022. Because that pushed DA4 to 2024-2025 and ME4 potentially to 2027-2028. Imagine getting a sequel to ME3, an utterly disappointing climax to one of the most IT franchises in the history of gaming, 15 years later, or a direct sequel to Andromeda, 10 years after the original. Honestly, I think nobody is going to wait for that.
I guess EA will release a remaster of the OT, which will be a loss for them, considering the price of the DLCs ... unless they release the DLC gradually and for extra money, in addition to the remaster. Oh, that would be clever. That would be real clever, EA. Like Activision did with the Modern Warfare remake. Especially if you retire the old versions of the games and their DLCs and force people to buy the new stuff, like Blizzard did with WC3. Aw, that would be such an EA thing to do, I'd take my hat off to you.
So yeah, remaster of the Trilogy, that fixes nothing, resells the DLC to you, just to try to remind people that ME is a thing, so they can sell their next game to an audience that is aware this franchise exists. Oh, EA, I can already see the headlines and they're nice and roasty. Because they'll roast you. In case you didn't get it already.
I'm assuming I am with the majority when I say that
>We need to keep the expanded cast, because it was well received
>Nobody has a particular preference to the gameplay
>Inventory a la ME1 is good, but the UI needs to be there to support it. ME:A's effort was abysmal.
>Space exploration would be nice to see a return, but ME1's implementation was testing of people's patience and ME:A's was vapid
>Safe to say that scanning should not make a return, neither the ME2, nor the ME3 kind
>Doesn't need to be a huge plot, especially with the cast supporting the adventure, but it has to be intriguing. Go Manchurian Candidate, go Last Days of the Condor, go King Solomon's Treasures, or go Indiana Jones, or go The Italian Job. It's OK to make [thing] in space. It's fun.
You can make a million of these games and always remain fresh.
Don't forget the Quarians in ME2 putting Tali on trial, sending her to take her Fathers ship back, and then trying to push the trial to a judgement the second her and Shepard leave the room.
Why would you want to?
