Why would they skip it to remake 4, only to come back to it later? That makes no sense - it's not getting remade and that's unironically a good thing after what they did to 2 and 3

Retards were mad that they didn't get the magnum on their first run or ran out of ammo on alexia and only had 1 save file instead of rotating 5. I'm not gonna defend the bad game design but once you've learned it, its a really good game.

I just played through it, it’s pretty good and the environments are stalker or silent hill 2 like. Wish it had more puzzles but overall it is very good.

Just got into this franchise.

Tried RE1 and had a really hard time getting into it because I didn't properly know what to expect, so I started with 2 Remake instead and honestly it might be the most fun I've had with a single player game in years.
Playing 7 now which I'm also really enjoying and plan to revisit RE1 after now that I know what the franchise is about (I kept trying to kill every single zombie and just playing it like an action game the first time)

Gonna play RE3 at some point too, though I heard that one leans a bit too much into action territory rather than horror which I know will leave a bad taste in my mouth. Not even gonna consider 5 and 6 after what I've heard about them.

Basically every game is good except for 6, 5 is fun coop but a bad RE game. Also Rev2 is hard to understand without playing 5.

You are right to avoid re6 but Re5 is unironically better value for money than RE3R. Especially if you get the gold edition. Plus, you really need to experience re5 to get any of the RE memes/ copy pastas that won't fucking die.

Yeah I wasn't planning on playing 3 until the price goes way down. Maybe I'll play 5 with a buddy but truthfully I doubt I'll like it from what I've seen
