Final Fantasy VII REMAKE has a way more successful launch than XV all things considered, also consider that XV was launched in the holiday seasons with an Xbox release too:

>Square Enix describes the game’s digital sales as “exceptional” and “continuing to increase.”
>According to Japanese outlets such as Famitsu and Gamer.ne.jp, Final Fantasy VII Remake shipments and digital sales surpassed one million units in Japan alone. Since the physical edition sold 702,853 copies in its first three days in Japan, according to Famitsu numbers, the digital edition may account for 297,000 copies or more in the country.
