How the fuck are they even going to make the remake? Midgar took literally 7 hours for me, and I've been playing for 20+ hours, only yesterday hitting disc 2.
How fucking dense are squeenix? Do they plan on releasing episodes until we hit 2030? Like what the fuck son, if they do go ahead with it, the whole Nibelheim flashback will take 1/4 of the entire second act and probably end at Gold Saucer or after Dyne dies.

That's nice, but Midgar was a closed space with no freedom of movement and exploration, unlike the rest of the game, that's the problem. Either they cut out open world completely, making it linear, or it's going to be just fucking dumb getting a piece of story every year or two. They literally bit off more then they could chew if they plan on populating the rest of the world as they did Midgar, otherwise it will have literally nothing but a bit of story spread between distant markers on the map, compared to 40 hours of padded content.
I mean if they will do the same stuff they did with Midgar, then episodes would have to be even shorter, the second one ending in Junon or some shit.
