1) played it for 1 hour and dropped it
2) seen memes/read stories about it

it's a part of reddit culture but hardly anyone there actually plays it.

I'd bet not only my life, but the life of everyone I love and care about, and the lives of countless orphans that more people on reddit play it than on polchan.

Sure. But I'm not talking quantity of players but rather how calling it "reddit: the game" is a bit unjustified given that there are sooo many other games that probably 90% of /r/gaming would suck the dick of whoever made it.
