playstations 5 controller wont really give you any benefits over the dualshock 4 or xbox one controller if you are playing on pc. i like the xbox one controller, but dualshock 4 and plenty of cheaper controllers will work just fine on pc.

Why would you wait for something not compatible out of the box? I am tired of deleting my DS4 drivers and replugging it back again because there was some mistake that can't be fixed otherwise and the bootleg pajeet DS4Windows drivers are chimping out.

I haven't had DS4Windows installed on my PC for 2 years or more now because Steam takes care of DS4 perfectly for me. I haven't found even a single game that gives me issues with DS4.

Actually that is why I am thinking of this controller. My ds4 is fucking up more often now days, but I am hesitant since I did try 2 xbone controllers before it and their rumbles died withing hours while my ds4 has been going for 3 years now.

Xbox controllers will always be better than playstations for pc simply because its supported out of the box by every single new game release

That is what's irritating me the most about vidya controllers. There is no perfect one for a reasonable price. You get Xbone's? Sticks will drift or there will be another issue, shit's the same since 360 days. You get Sony's? Shit compatibility, sticks get rubber destroyed in mere months of casual play.
Fucking hacks. My PS2 controller is still not drifting and has all the rubber, and it's been like 18 years now.

I have multiple DS4s, one of them is from a launch day PS4. None of their rubbers degraded at all. I don't know what you are doing to your controllers, but it most definitely doesn't fit the definition of "casual play" by 99% of the population's understanding of the term.

Yes, but not that ugly ass color scheme. DS5 has symmetrical sticks, so it's not worth using in any capacity.

I don't play games all that much that aren't on Steam, but I had no issues playing Forza Horizon 3 using a DS4, and without DS4Windows.
Can't imagine gamepass games to give issues if FH3 didn't, but maybe I'm wrong.
