Djeeta is a slightly worse Gran as things stand. Most expect Gran's certain normals to be nerfed to Djeeta's level on the next week's patch.
Only differences are:
- Djeeta has a hold-button bigger projectile
- Gran's Boot (one of best specials in the game) is swapped to a 3-5 hit rekka
- Djeeta's SBA super is a deadly rave multihit type
- Slight hitbox and frame differences in some normals

I'd swap slightly worse normals/specials for a better character design any day, I preferred Sakura to Ryu. I also miss rekkas since capcom are fucking pussies and they wouldn't put a real rekka character in SFV so that's good news.
I saw Shine play that dude that has rekkas but he kinda reminds me of Chip, I don't want to be all over the screen. I prefer chilling.
