I've decided, in a moment of unspeakable retardation, to only play games that can be played on my DS for the next however-many months, which means I'm limited to basically just Gameboy, GBA, NDS, and NES, games. I have about 650MB left on my SD card (my flash cart having a 2GB limit), so help me fill it up. And once I have it filled I can't build up a backlog seperate from what's on the card, just so it's not easy to bullshit.
Here's what I have so far:
Gameboy (Colour) >Dragon Warrior 1+2, and 3 >Metal Gear Solid >Pokemon Crystal >Super Mario Land 1+2
Gameboy Advance >Fire Emblem, and Fire Emblem - The Sacred Stones >Legend of Zelda - The Minish Cap >Mother 3
Nintendo DS >Another Code - Two Memories >Dragon Quest IV - The Chapters of the Chosen >Dragon Quest V - The Hand of the Heavenly Bride >Ghost Trick - Phantom Detective >Grand Theft Auto - Chinatown Wars >Hotel Dusk - Room 215 >Picross DS >Polarium >Radiant Historia >Tetris DS >Theresia >Time Hollow
Rune Factory 3, harvest moon friends of the mineral town, harvest moon DS 1.2 patched. You can get final fantasy's and dragon quest's rereleases on DS and GBA too.

Zincland's POWDER zincland.com/powder/index.php?pagename=about I've sunk dozens and dozens of hours into this, one of the best roguelikes if you're into lore and descriptions for every single item/enemy/etc. Works great with touch controls on the DS :> Takes a while to get good and learn everything etc Keep in mind that you can rearrange the hotbuttons on the edges of your screen for quick actions and add/remove from the options screens
>Ace Attorney 1-3 and Apollo Justice Also Ace Attorney Investigations and AAI2 (Gykuten Kenji 2 with the translation patch).
Parker Edwards
For DS I can rec: > Super Scribblenauts > Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory > Nintendogs (shit's legit) > Pokemon HG/SS > New Super Mario Bros. > Wario Ware > LoZ: Phantom Hourglass > Super Mario 64 DS (or whatever it's called)

If you havnt played chrono trigger, play the ds port
Daniel Scott
>Hotel Dusk Absolutely based. Love that game.
Chibi Robo Park Patrol is fun too, very impressive graphically for the DS. It's hot a very particular feel, though, do it's certainly not for everyone.

Sonic Advance 1/2 Sonic Rush and Rush Adventure Pokemon BW2 Metroid Fusion and Zero mission

Newer Super Mario Bros. is a pretty great rom hack. Also can't go wrong with all the kirby games from gameboy through DS. Superstar Ultra, Amazing Mirror and Dreamland 2 are a must. the Oracle zelda games and links awakening are also great
Hunter Cox
Animal Crossing Wild World is a nice time sink
Owen Phillips
Came in to say this. Chrono trigger my man
Adam Anderson
Sell me on Phantom Hourglass, from what ive seen of it and Spirit tracks they look like garbage compared to the rest of the 2d zeldas
Oliver Nelson
Thanks for the lists. I think it could go a little over so I'll have to skim some away. I wanted to avoid leading the conversation so I just let you go. Can anyone rec. any GB(C) or NES games that could fill in the last little gaps since they're so small.
Grayson Baker
Got a link for HMDS 1.2? I can only find 1.1.
Zachary Russell
Kino sailing
Boat customization? Hell yeah
Dope-ass soundtrack
Temple of the Ocean King puzzle with the whole time limit thing may be the killer for some, but to me it was a cool puzzle with a good amount of tension to it and the idea of a central dungeon entices me
Killer puzzles. (draw lines on your map that will then intersect on a digging spot is fucking awesome)
Perfect use of touch screen movement
Linebeck is the #1 Zelda character of all time
My complaints would be that it's perhaps a bit too easy and the game does have, at many points, uninteresting/linear dungeon designs.

GBC - Oracle of ages + Seasons and Links awakening DX are my favourite 2d Zeldas. If your playing minish cap and havent played them already, its an easy decision imo.

Those are all my favorite DS games and pure kino OP, there are more gems out there but you'll have to look it up for yourself, good luck
You know it's funny I used to play Links Awakening all the time back in the day but never even finished it because I used a web emulator and closing the browser cleared the save. Added to the list, same wity Ages and Seasons because they're like 1MB and why not.
Cameron Williams
get the super mario bros advance series
David Jones
put neoDS on the list user. It runs decently.
Gavin Torres
I played through Infinite Space recently and it seems like it's very underappreciated. Check it out, OP.
