When one of my friends told me that the main character was trans, my response was “goddammit, now all of my porn is outdated!”
I then went on with my day and played a bit of the Moon level before getting burnt out because fuck those mushroom floaty things.

The only good thing about the games these days is the girls so yeah I guess.

I only bought Celeste because a friend recommended it to me. I was honestly really put off by the art style and story. I still think the story is an incredibly cringe worthy take on depression, but I liked the game overall. Definitely a fun time.

What put you off about the art style? Is it TOO cute?

Lots.

I thought shantae was bretty gud

Nah. I hate to say it, but it reminded me too much of "Tumblr" for my tastes. I'm not saying that the art is bad, but it's not to my subjective tastes. The writing put me off more, honestly.

Absolutely no regrets.

>writing put me off more

How so? Was it the preoccupation with mental illness? Do you not find depressed girls cute?

Eh, I just rather play Silent Hill 2 if I wanted to play a game about depression. I didn't particularly like the lack of subtlety. And shit like "Hey let's take a selfie" took me out of the experience completely.

Most of the game is actually about her defeatism and anxiety. Her depression really only comes into focus in the Mirror Temple, which magnifies the mountain's power.

>Girls

defeatism and anxiety usually goes hand in with depression.

Yes, which is why it appears in the Mirror Temple. But the point of Madeline's climb was to overcome her defeatism, and she began to handle her anxiety along the way too. Her depression isn't addressed as much, even in the heart-to-heart after escaping the Mirror Temple.

This character is a tranny btw

kinda cute tho

A bunch of them, some of them were even good too.

wow
are you the game dev?

yeah you got me

I'd impregnate her penis

can't say I have. I've definitely continued to play a game for a girl I thought was cute

Is this game worth playing? I hate mixels but I can put up with it if the gameplay is decent.

Celeste rocks

It's ok but can be a little annoying and counterintuitive. In some rooms the main challenge is not to execute the jumps but figure out what do you have to do exactly, it applies mostly to the later sections though

Is it 20 dollars good or should I look for a discount?

I finished it in 11 hours but for some reason the developer decided to lock the rest of the big dlc behind 100% completion so if you go full completionist it can take about 30-40.
I'd say it's worth it Got it for free on Epic

Besides the very very final new chapter, I found all the levels really obvious and execution was the challenge

got it today since its $5 on switch and beat the hotel part and it already feels like its getting boring and repetitive
probably just not for me and don't find it hard at all either

Yes and it effin sucked, most indie/garbage/horrible/boring/uninspired/awful/terrible/bad games usually have a good to decent artstyle with a cute girl to lure you in, once you play it you realize it sucks because it's a repetitive game made for coomers

stop this threads

I'll get it on switch then. Seems like it'll be a good lazy day game.
