Mario deserves a large number of spots given it is literally the flagship series of Nintendo, and I say that as someone who doesn't even like most of the Mario fighters.
The problem really started with Corrin who should have never been added to 4, and then while Chrom is a echo fighter and probably didn't take that much to add he was still bloat, and then Ultimate having the "everyone if here" tagline forcing characters like Ike or Roy to be included... it was a lot of things that just happened to add up with this game. Byleth on top of all that was completely unnecessary though.

I will, by saying, there really isnt. Saber is as boring and vanilla sword user as you can get, THE BEST thing you can say its her invisible sword gimmick, otherwise its just swings and laser beam.
I want her, but she is boring as fuck, something like Emiya with his bow and arrow, flower shield, recyclable swords and final smash UBW is waaaay more interesting.
