sorry bud, wrong. TFT was easily way better.
Is persona 5 the only one where the vanilla is better than the expanded version?
>the amount of nights that Morgana forces you to go to sleep has gone from like 50+ to what feel like a single digit number of instances
This simple fucking change makes Royal just the better game by far. And I WANTED to hate Royal. But the degree to which this improves the experience and immersion cannot be overstated. Even the infamous SleepyFutaba-through-Spaceport arc of the game becomes tolerable.
Royal is definitely too easy though. Infinite ammo breaks the early game in half and eliminates the resource conservation aspect of Palaces.
The same applies for Etrian Odyssey 1 and Persona 4 because there's less Persona 4 to suffer through. The extra plot and characters in stuff like Radiant Historia and Strange Journey Redux are in a weird spot where they make the story and writing worse by existing but the extra gameplay content is usually pretty good.
It is babyfied when all they're doing is giving bosses weaknesses and removing their elemental strengths. Also, it only adds one new hard difficulty and it's not even available until you beat the game.
Being a contrarian doesn't make you special, retard. Golden is objectively better than the PS2 version.
I bet you also think P3P is better than FES, stupid fuck
>Have to follow a guide to get everything 100% in one playthrough
To even make this complaint, you reveal yourself as a faggot who would be looking at a guide either way.
P4G is fucking awful.
P4 without Marie is a much more superior experience.
