You've been hired by Atlus as their idea guy for the development of Persona 6. Your first task is to come up with the following: >Setting >Theme >Color scheme >Velvet room >Type of dungeons >Music genre >Distinctive gameplay gimmick >Party's mascot (optional)
I rehash Persona 3 for the fourth time since weebs will eat that shit up anyway and put all my resources into finishing SMTV and make it one of the best games ever game.
I want a Persona 3 remake with a nudist beach event so we can see the MC's and Yukari's cute butts
Nicholas Campbell
Seriously though, can persona fuck off for a bit? Plenty of other SMT sub-series they could do but we just keep getting persona shit
Nolan Richardson
Yeah, Raidou 3 when
Jackson Nguyen
It makes money you retard. How many edgy turn-based JRPGs can they make?
Isaac Peterson
I'm thinking he's based
Brody Torres
>smt is edgy damn personafags really are kids
William Nguyen
> How many edgy turn-based JRPGs can they make? Depends on how much times they can re-release Persona 5
William Hernandez
Id make an extreme decision to make the protagonists now University students instead of High Schoolers.
Gavin Martin
I don't understand how he could say that with a straight face, P5 is easily the edgiest Megaten title, to the point that it's even reflected in the menus.
Charles Green
>Setting Osaka >Theme 30's noire detective >Color scheme Silver and black >Velvet room A cozzy bar at night >Type of dungeons Mafia hideouts >Music genre Jazz >Distinctive gameplay gimmick You can threaten and interrogate shadows to reveal secret paths or get intel on other enemies >Party's mascot (optional) A rat with a tommy gun
I'm not that into ideas to give you a list but doing the globe trotting idea that got scrapped would be cool, or if anything make it take place in another country. Probably never going to happen, but I would have loved to have a palace in Hawaii or an entire game take place in some unexpected place like a farm area, or maybe a shit town in NJ or something. (maybe inaba covered that I dunno)
P3 had a small city, but pretty sub urban P4 was the boonies P5 was the city

Too bad college isn't that big of a deal for Japanese people social-wise. Highschool is still the turning point in life for them. I don't think they even have proper campuses like some western countries.
Nolan Brown
>setting idk much about japenese cities, just somewhere in japan i guess. I liked the big city feel of persona 5 so maybe a different suburb of tokyo or another large japenese city >theme not sure what exactly what you mean by this >color scheme green seems the most distinct out of all the secondary colors so i would go with that >Velvet room club/bar >type of dungeons puzzle solving similar to persona 5 >music genre house music >distinctice gameplay gimmick open world in the sense there are no trains, you can drive or walk around the entire world with no loading screens. there is no combat in the overworld like other personas so it's not going to be like a GTA clone or whatever.
Brayden Thomas
Yukari wouldn't do that...
Christian Ramirez
Based jojofag
Alexander Ross
scratch what i said about the setting, make a large japenese city that's not tokyo and make it the entire city. I don't think just having a suburb would work in an open world game.
Jason Russell
Why does Japan hate making stories about college life? Is highschool the be all end all for them? So many of their animes and shows are set in highschool
Logan Perry
But they don't travel around the world in p3
David Phillips
this is actually just an idea for a fangame i've been thinking on, more styled like P2 than the later games >>Setting probably a small run-down country town >>Theme Dreams as an extension of reality; people are getting possessed by shadows in their sleep and then those posessed people are causing havoc in the real world, and throughout the game dreams start bleeding into reality more and more, which is what creates the dungeons and is the explanation for the random battles. Nyarlathotep is behind it obviously. >>Color scheme Turquoise, or maybe purple >>Velvet room A hotel check in counter >>Type of dungeons Uh... not randomly generated? >>Music genre Early 90s hip-hop influenced >>Distinctive gameplay gimmick Just bring back fusion spells from P2 >>Party's mascot (optional) Absolutely not.

>set in Paris >MC is forced to move there after their parent dies >dead beat gaijin parent has to take them in, decides to enroll them in the boarding school they work in >MC has to move on and finish morning their dead parent >other users move on as well >move on from first heartbreak, family business going under, sibling moving out, or whatever. >mascot animal is a parrot, it's the school's mascot and can talk like a normal person, just because it's a parrot >go to the Paris Catacombs to crossover to the game's Midnight Channel/Metaverse/Tartarus

Because being a boomer in Japan is boring and depressing as fuck. Highschool is like 'Oh man, I want to do this when I grow up, or maybe this. Can't wait to be accepted in a cool university! There's quite a future ahead all of us' and college is like 'Welp, time to get this over with so I can get a good job and pay my bills'
