sadly, TTing is the best option. Talk to everyone, TT 15 days (make sure its around 4pm) and then run around and youre pretty much gonna find one thinking of leaving/or at least running up to you with a !!

Nope. Yesterday I was island hopping and I found Bella on a fruit island, who I found THE DAY BEFORE on spiral island.
Also, the famous Yas Forumsillager who saved a webm of him immediately leaving a normal island as soon as he saw Violet, while I found the same ape on a bamboo island.
It's all random in the end.
