Bethesda seems to have their head up their ass when it comes to marketing Doom. They fucked up the marketing strategy with Doom 2016 too (although, personally, I liked the multiplayer anyway so I don't know why everyone was so hung up about how trash it was).

It's refering to the mixing of the Soundtrack not the music he recorded.

Outsourced mixing and mastering to someone cheaper. 99% of mastering engineers brickwall their shit, so this is what you get.
