You experience the core gameplay loop likely multiple times over the course of the first 30 minutes of play, so why do you continue playing? Everything afterwards is just a remix of what you've already done. Since you know how the game works, there is no reason to keep playing.

The RTS genre has died, I don't have any other choice.

Most games give you new abilities and mechanics as the game progresses and the ones hat aren't are indie games that last 2 hours. If your game doesn't do any of these, thats a flaw and most poeppe will abandon it before finishing
