What are some good keyboards you would recommend? Which ones do you use?

Cherry keyboard, it just works.

as long as you've got gateron reds and water resistance, you're good

ducky 7

I love my Durgod Taurus K310 with Cherry Red. Bought on an wimp because my k70 broke and I couldn't be happier. Is a much better keyboard and cheaper.
I liked it so much that I bought a K320 with Cherry Blue to use at work.

What will you be using it for?
Typing or video games?
work or leisure, do you want to annoy people or have a low-profile keyboard?

I've just ordered a ducky one two brown with mx cherry keys. I don't know why but the aesthetic reminds me of a NES.

Well video games, obv. I don't care about sound as long as it's comfortable; I'm curious if there exist more ergonomic keyboards (that aren't shit) because regular ones can sometimes give me cramps after a while, but I didnt mention that because I wanted an unbiased view into what others had or preferred.

What in the fuck...
What is the advantage of this design??

I almost bought a ducky one two but I heart that the built quality of Durgod is a bit better but man, that is one beautiful keyboard.

ergonomics

I got a coolermaster quickfire tk with cherrymx blues, and Ive been using it for like many years now. Ngl, tenkeyless with like the arrow keys on numpad with a toggle switch between both makes performance in some games really fucking high.

I like me a ultra-light for some reason. Feels good and no CLICKETY CLACKing

I picked it off of google images just because it looked silly. Real answer though is that it's meant for disabled people

noooooo not the heckin number paderino

Has anyone ever bought an Optimus keyboard? The concept of programmable key images seems cool but a few dead pixels would be really annoying.

it does ? why ? do you look at your keyboard in search of keys to press ? no ? then what's the point of custom images on it ?

Still using this.
All you fags with 200$ mechanical keyboards are retarded.

if you don't plan on using it for multimedia work, then don't

just get one of those elgato stream decks

>200$ mechanical keyboards are retarded.
no you are just really poor there are 35$ mechanical keyboards

mechanical keyboards with something like a cherry mx black key should last forever
wonder if they are shooting themselves in the foot by making an indestructible peripheral

good thing is underage will keep buying more and more cheap mech crap that breaks because thats all they can afford

i will never understand how anyone can write with flat laptop spaced keyboards

he can buy 5 ordinary membrane keyboards
for anything other than rts it makes zero difference anyway. you bottom it out
you're paying for feel

I wanna get one of those logitech mx keys. Just because I can just change it and don‘t need to use my laptop again. But shit is expensive.

>erry mx black key should last forever
I have a steelseries 7g that had black cherry but I swapped it out for a smaller one
it still works tho, even after 3 spills, but some of the keys are easier to press than others and its all rusted under the keys

logitech keyboard and mouse combo for 20$, replace the mouse with a logitech gaming mouse

I have some shitty razer keyboard that my dad bought me in 2012

>you are paying for feel
um yes? because I can afford a keyboard that feels nicer? there is a reason why anyone who isnt braindead and can afford a mechanical keyboard buys one

I have pic related and it's great for typing, you can hammer anything out. thats how I type, I slam my fingers down
ofcourse its nothing like what you posted
activation is really fast, there is practically no wasted time pushing down and waiting for the key to rise. but you have to push down a bit hard, if you relax the force you might stop running or moving forward etc.
reason some form of keyboard style is pushed is because the switches are cheaper to manufacture, I don't like the chicklets.
apparently the older scissor switch similar in appearance to this that was on the thinkpad laptops was even better and more durable

stupid people pay more for something they don't need
for video games theres no point using an expensive keyboard

I'm still using the Windows 98 Keyboard, just modded to USB

I really like my steelseries apex pro. However, if I had to spend $200 all over again, I think i'd forego any gaymur features and just get a Ducky. I bought a Ducky for my girlfriend and all the keys feel so stable compared to mine. I guess the "plate" is higher quality etc

Also because this keyboard has north mounted LEDs, replacement keycaps haven't worked, they rub. This makes me sad.

>you're paying for feel

yes. that's the point

>for video games theres no point using an expensive keyboard
yes there is they feel nicer like you said
you should considered getting a job and buying a mechanical keyboard to try it out so you can stop with this mental gymnastics, I would have advised you to buy a brain but unfortunately for you thats not possible

wtf where is it available with that keyset?

nice monster hunter porn

I use a Filco Majestouch 2. It feels very nice.
