Well I didn't buy this shitfest because after Squares "GLEAMING" track record these past 20 years, I was finally smart enough to let nostalgia go and say no. I mean, the PS2 entries are up for debate I suppose, and I don't play MMOs, but after 4 horrifically bad FFs in a row and endless, terrible side games....

Also, all those months ago, the data mined leak convinced me the game was gonna be ass. Nothing from it looked or sounded any good.

And then early user reviews and screenshots were full of massive red flags. Like the fucking time jannies and PSP quality textures.

And for fuck sakes, it's the same people who made FFXV and the same director as kingdom hearts, AKA autism the game.

while I havent bought this game because im not exactly a final fantasy megafan so its easy to wait for the full box of the entire remake episodes compiled or at least a hefty pricedrop on PC or something, Im pretty sure the general consensus is that people like it and its a few pedophiles with aspergers who are going insane over the meta angle in the remake.
