I like the slightly longer ttk. Gives you a bit more of a fighting chance if you get jumped. That said, on higher ranked lobbies you still get blasted in under a second if you make a wrong move.

If you compare it to CS, maybe. The shooting is just your average CoD-like stuff (worse than the new CoD actually, but that game has its own set of problems) and movement is crippled Titanfall.

The only reason I ever played it for more than one match was the longer TTK, I'm tired of these instakill "shoot-that-guy-in-the-back" simulators.

I can tell you are new, the meta and esports no fun allowed mentality has really ruined the game. You get tryhards no matter where you play. It used to be that getting jumped after a gunfight was just an unlucky occurence, now after every gight there's a squad waiting to jump you. It turned a fast paced movement shooter into a waiting game. I won't even talk about the ridiculously priced skins and broken progression system, that gets worse every season

I hate everything about BR, but apex is only "alive" game that i enjoy can it's shooting mechanics.
On a another side i don't have problem with finding full servers on DB now thanks to corona-chan. So i guess i moving back.

For me , it's the movement . I love the overall pace of the game . Sliding down a hill while shooting feels fucking great .

All the characters besides watson are gay goblinos and this shit has no lore. Worst ping of any popular online shooter by far, requires origin, STILL crashes randomly, gimped movement, ugly guns, there's so little to like here even if you enjoyed titanfall

The attachment system, ammo types selection, armor types and whatever are too complex and awful to interact with at its usual high pace. It puts the gameplay to a halt, but none of the urgency.

In fact the game's entire backpack/ looting system is a great stinking shit. And no, idgaf about ''but it's worse in game XYZ''. They came up with the Ping system, which is a decent innovation. They should be able to solve other usability issues that are a pain in the ass, too.

Art direction is pretty fucking gay/awful but Pathfinder is fun and the guns actually feel good so I can enjoy it.

It's the idea of BR that is fundamentally retarded, players only do what they discovered to work best. In any game with more than two opposing sides the #1 strategy will be to wait until two (or more) other teams fight each other, then clean up what's left.

Are you retarded? I don't even spend any time menuing, I just manage everything on the run.
If there's stuff lying on the ground I don't even need to stop to pick it up, in the couple seconds between seeing it and running up to it I already know if I'll pick it up or not. The only thing that requires you to stop is looting a death box, and that takes me 5 seconds tops.

You know it's fun because that's what they advertise in their fucking trailers, just crazy and over the top action.
Yeah but that's boring. I play a movement shooter goddamnit not sniper elite 3. The combat system goes to total waste if the match progression follows a bigger fish eats smaller fish pattern. Them adding 2 snipers didn't help at all.

The game itself is fine, although the new map sucks and they've acknoledged it by bringing Kings Canyon back.
The problem is that its not new. It's like every multiplayer game, the casual player moved along to play the new thing and only the autistic tryhards remain, which made the game less explosive because everybody is camping his own corner waiting to third-party a fight.

There's nothing you can do about that because it will happen to every game eventually, but I think they fucked up by not pumping out new content faster when the iron was hot, in order to delay the decay of this game.
