I would say that most of the people who dont like the game outs themselves as a pleb. The amount of damage you deal is based more on your knowledge than your stats, but you also get assraped at very low levels for having low stats too because of how the devs were retarded in implementing the stat systems. So you get players expecting skyrim but getting raped at every turn and not being able to tell whether they are doing something wrong or they dont have enough stats.

I hated the original Bioshock so damn much when I got it just based off all the hype. Most miserable gaming experience ever.

Ended up loving Columbia so much from previews of Infinite I bought it for like $10 and loved it(though yea kind of fell off at the halfway point). Went back and played 1 afterwards, was able to enjoy it and then 2 with DLC and also enjoyed it.

1 was such a clunkfest, Infinite had a beautiful setting, Rapture was cool at certain points sure and I'll give 1 the best story, and 2 easily best actual gameplay

Same. Funny thing is I loved the demo but the novelty wore off super quick with the full game.

First hour is full of hilarious-but-good cutscenes and makes for a good God of War rip-off. Then the remaining 90% of the game is you running around in boring ass caves and jungle ruins while watching comic book frames tier non-animated cutscenes.

You can never really know unless you try it, but sometimes you might like a taste but not like the full game or later in the game the quality might drop off.

Then there is trying things outside your scope of interest, ya kno trying new things. I would have never enjoyed Dark Souls if I decided against playing it because it wasn't my type.
