Mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
DON'T use W10's own virtual disc app! It will not work.
Don't install under C:\Program Files\ ! This will cause issues.
The "Enhanced .EXE" is also the no-CD crack!
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate using ePSXe or PCSX-R.
Follow the SH2 widescreen fix site's instructions to the T, and you should be fine.
For 3 & 4, check the Guide.

-Play in the release order.
-Never play below Normal difficulty! Especially in case of #2!
-Replaying them all is recommended; tons of replay value.
-Turn down the ingame Brightness setting, for better gamma & colors!
-Don't try to kill everything that moves, especially outdoors. Leg it, or sneak!
-Turning OFF the flashlight can really help w/ stealth!

I really liked Shattered Memories, to my own surprise as well. It's not really a "survival horror", but especially on Wii, it's a fascinating psychological experience.

I think its worth trying SH4. I didnt finish it because fuck that second half, but its worth checking it out just on how good the good parts are. The revelation at the ending is some spine chilling shit too. Its genuinely the last Team Silent content out there.

No, it's not on-par with, say SH1 and 2, but definitely superb compared to anything that came afterwards.

I just told you that the intro is cool and comfy. But the commercial center afterwards is too big for the content it has. It has some cool moments like the tension it builds before you find the first monster, but after that I just get tired of the same muddy textures without detail. I guess it's a way of replacing the empty feelings of the endless walkings in towns at the beginning of the other 2 games, but i was not a fan either of those parts.

It's not complete garbage. It's definitely flawed enough so I didn't manage to finish it myself but there's plenty great stuff in it to give it a chance. Games are not either SHIT or GOTY.
I saw the ending on youtube cause I got tired of cheesing the game to deal with Walter. It was not fun, just tiring. It's a shame i didn't get to experience the ending properly, but it's definitely something worth talking about.

I'd say it doesn't completely ditch it. More like it invents a different cult shit on top of the one from 1-3, which it lightly touches upon, but it's less on-your-face without getting to SH2 psychological introspection tier.
