So what the fuck was this all about? Is the 7 seconds really referring to Aerith's death scene (theme is a remake of Forgotten City music)? What is the edge of creation, and how is the planet "becoming a part of it someday". Is this some Madoka bullshit about entropy and universe heat death? Why does Sephiroth not only want to survive himself but Cloud as well?
Video doesn't even go into the dialogue of that part.

the 7 seconds shit is 7 seconds before meteor hits
Angel Diaz
7 seconds likely refers to either Aerith's death or the amount of time Cloud has left at the Edge of Creation. Here Cloud can change something about the past (I think, it really isn't clear) and he likely changes Zack's fate within these 7 seconds. The Edge of Creation, I think, is the final area where you originally fought Sephiroth and used Omnislash. The planet becoming part of it means that the planet is heavily involved in Sephiroth's plan. As of now, Sephiroth is relying on Cloud to unknowingly carry out whatever he's planning. Cloud and co beat the time cops which is exactly what Sephiroth wanted, so he likely sees them as useful elsewhere. Sephiroth's endgame is likely to pull an alt universe where he wins.
sephie you see doesn't exist just a figment of crazy ass cloud; ACeque fightscene at the end didn't happen. The whole people are seeing future shit is square twisting the original 'i see dead people' visions etc/redherring

> FF VII Remake Ending its not an ending ;) its only the first cd
If you're implying Meteor can somehow be stop 7 seconds before it hits that's stupid. It's obviously referring to Aerith's deaths equence, the music is another hint.
>That's interesting, so the whole Aerith death scene was really someone clutching at straws when they timed it at 7 seconds!
Andrew Ross
cap this post if you want because I'm calling it now: there's some good in sephiroth left and his alternate timeline bullshit he becomes good at the last minute and defeats jenova by sacrificing himself or some shit but he gets to be in the life stream or something equally gay
Jaxon Hughes
probably, and cloud gets to change one thing about the past (save aerith, zack or jessie)

they're gonna steins;gate it even oldfags getting riled up for the ruse

Nah, I don't think there's any indication that's what happened at the edge of creation part. Biggs and possibly Jessie and Wedge survived because the Whispers were already overextended and failing. Zack survives in an alternate timeline because they were defeated, sending shockwaves through the timelines, not because Cloud made some choice.

What could possibly still happen in the 7 seconds before meteor hits to change the outcome? In the original, Holy fails and then the Lifestream intervenes. But Sephiroth is implying Cloud could still do something?
Liam Butler
Maybe it's called Remake because they are Remaking their future
Alexander Perry
I feel like creating a FF7 Remake AMV set to Puddle of Mudd's hit song "Blurry" portraying the angst of Cloud as he is forced to accept that he is inextricably linked to Sephy-kun!
>But Sephiroth is implying Cloud could still do something?
Kill Aerith.

>Sephiroth is implying Cloud they never interact until the end

The Edge of Creation is where all timelines and dimensions exist all at once. This is how past alternate Zack will enter the Remake timeline from his own before his death. Sephiroth (del futuro) brings Cloud there to defeat the personification of the fate that manifested in a future where he dies, since the Sephiroth we see in the game is actually an astral projection from the future through the life stream so he can’t kill the personification of fate himself as he is physically stuck in his own time point. After the death of fate, Sephiroth (del futuro) drops a hint about Aerith because a future where Aerith dies is a future when he is defeated. So, preventing Aerith’s death also means preventing his own demise. Aerith lives = Sephiroth lives, but Sephiroth isn’t accounting for Zack (alternate alive pasado) joining the Remake timeline, hence throwing his plans out the window and inviting a new struggle for both Sephiroth (del futuro) and Sephiroth (del presente).

>not Linkin Park In the End or Numb
Do you even amv?

It's about Aerith's death. It takes Sephiroth 7 seconds to fall down and stab her. youtu.be/wiKfhIRcOfc
Jason Jones
7 seconds have passed!
Noah Baker
Can Cloud take Sephiroth's dick in his ass for 7 seconds.
Benjamin Wilson
I forgot to add. The only way to enter the edge of creation is through the planet’s live stream. Sephiroth (original) astral projected himself when he was in contact with the live stream in the future of the original timeline. Him doing this once again in the Remake timeline is integral for his plans to succeed and also future proof his plans to make sure that even if he fails again, he could simply repeat the process of astral projecting himself to the past until he finally completes what he set out for.
