Can’t wait for the remake

Fucking idiotic. do you even realise the implications. they're just going to make shitty alternate timline spinoffs from here FF7 is going to go the way of Kingdom hearts and the Simpsons. a fucking corps that the company just keeps raping until noone want to even go near it.

Apathy. I stopped caring after too many ghost appearances.

masterpiece.

that Price of Freedom vibe

what a fucking trainwreck and it's only going to get worse.

you have no idea what's going to happen
stop crying over getting the new content we all asked for pissbaby

>Going to make shitty alternate timeline spinoffs
I would say your argument holds water here but I also feel like that is the reason why all the time jannies and arbiter of fate were killed in the very first game to seal that loophole.

Is zack alive now or not?

Apparently, unless something else kills him off.

nigga died and never even kissed his girlfriend... Wtf.

shut up nerd, literally anything could possibly happen from here, stop aimlessly speculating

For as bad as Crisis Core was, it did have some pretty good moments especially after fighting Angeal and at the end. OST is god-tier though.

I don't think you even paid attention. i'll forgive you because alternate timelines in general are a completely retarded nonsensical concept but the timelines are all the same only because the arbiter exists (or are supposed to be but nomura and team fucked everything up even before the aribters those things weren't even effected by factor like aertith of sephiroth)
any way now the're dead there are infinite time lines with no fate so they can tell any story and make up what ever bullshit they want and don't even have to worry about plot coherency and the things that supposedly happened in other games.

In an alternate timeline

I think Genesis is legitimately the #1 worst villain I've ever seen in a video game, but Crisis Core has so many fantastic moments. Everything with him and Cloud is so well done, and everything after Nibelheim is perfect except for the Genesis stuff

>literally anything could possibly happen
that's not true nomura can't write something that's not completely retarded and juvenile. so only bad things for the series can happen.

Agreed. Genesis really didn't need to exist at all. The game could have gone on without him and we would have lost nothing.
Angeal could have still left SOLDIER and Sephiroth never needed Genesis to help him go crazy at Nibelheim in any other product the scene was represented in.

anybody hoping Jessie still alive too?

Ah, More shitposting about Nomura. Daring today, aren't we?

it's all so tiresome
when will they leave or die

It felt so good to see Zack get a happy ending after like 20 years, but you just know Nomura is gonna make him fucking suffer in part 2.

alive in alternate alternate timline

Hrm...you do make a point here but at the same time I feel as though that was the whole point of showing "stamp" as a redesign as well as showcasing that no matter what time it was, from the beginning of the planet to the end, the whispers of the lifestream were utilizing all their power to defeat Cloud and company.
We'll definitely have to wait and see but you could be right in the sense that they created a "multi-timeline" deal but I would be hard pressed to imagine that they are going to dabble in this universe in that way.
I mean the concept art drawings of Niggerorth are never going to come to light in any game form.

But the problem is that the party still isn't completely free to change fate. Now Sephiroth has control too, and if he wins in even one timeline it's curtains for all of creation, because the Lifestream probably spans all of it. Thus, he's been upgraded from a world-ending threat to a multiversal one.

Pretty sure OP's talking about Crisis Core's ending?

That's definitely a screenshot from Remake's ending

Noruma can't into killing off characters anymore. Losing Noctis did a number to his head

Its remake ending

>Sephiroth has control too
I know a lot of people believe that Jenova (Remember Sephiroth is still frozen in that crater) is the final fight of the game but the fact of the matter is the entire time you are in that pocket dimension you are fighting the whispers and the arbiter of fate.
The "Sephiroth is absorbing all the whispers" is merely them combing into the image of Sephiroth and the warning of the party if that they continue meteor WILL hit the planet.
At the end of the fight Cloud slashes through Sephiroth and three whispers fly out from the shadows. It's an illusion. Just like in Advent Children.
