Anyone else prefer GTA games that are set in the past? You think they'll ever do another period piece?

It's kinda pointless. Mafia took the 20th century concept, Rockstar themselves have the late 19th century/pre WW1 20th century with Red Dead, if they would go further they would just be similar to Mafia, if they would go further to the past they would just be Assassin's Creed without parkour.

If it's set in modern times then R* can sell you both classic and modern cars
If it's set in the past then they're limited to what range of cars they can sell you

I want GTA 6 to be set in Vice City again but this time in a cyberpunk future. Lasers, flying cars, all drenched in neon and synth.

Either that or a mid-to-late 70's GTA set in New York that follows a detective who works out of Times Square.

But I want more missions, sex, violence tits, ass, pussy, blood and gore.

Nope, kids say that it can't be GTA without smartphones and internet. Also, it's hilarious to hear them say "I don't want to drive old cars and shoot old guns". Now your taste in cars is one thing, but "old guns" proves they don't know what they're talking about because unless you set a GTA before the 1960s or before WW2 guns are going to behave more or less the same as today except having less tacticool shit.

I like 80s supercars way more than modern supercars

I don't know if I really would like, because most of the periods (80s, 70s, ecc) are already seen in other videogames
