Final Fantasy ViI Remake

The only way I see them doing the timeline thing in an interesting way is having us think that zack and aerith are gonna live and getting peoples hopes up, and at the end of part 2, sephiroth or hojo say in a twist that fate will never change, followed by aerith seeing the continuation of the zack scene, where zack dies like he did in the original, and suddenly sephy stabs aerith in an out of nowhere death, thereby shocking the audience again all while keeping everything like the original
Sepheroth wanted to REMAKE the outcome of ffvii
I still think the party wandered into a different timeline than the one they started with. Basically, a three timeline theory.
Timeline 1: The events of the original Final Fantasy VII occur. Advent Children occur and at some point after that, Sephiroth uses his jenova cells to telepathically communicate with his hivemind of clones in the past warning them of this game's timeline.
Timeline 2: The Final Fantasy VII Remake events play out up until the party defeats the whispers. The major difference here is that Sephiroth's hivemind of clones is aware of how timeline 1 plays out. Sephiroth opens up a portal to the realm of the whispers and has the party defeat destiny.
Timeline 3: The party wanders out of destiny crossroads to a parallel dimension where important events have been changed. This is the timeline where, for whatever reason, Stamp has been designed as a yorkshire terrier rather than a beagle as seen in timeline 2. Zack survives, and as a result, everyone's life is completely altered. Maybe Cloud continues being a Shinra trooper, Aerith lives a good life with Zack on the plate, AVALANCHE fails to bomb Mako Reactor 1.
Obviously, this ain't gonna happen, but it would be a wild fucking twist if Remake Aerith is the villain of the game. She gets visions of herself dying and decides to destroy destiny. After killing the whispers, she did something that altered history, allowing Zack to live, and escapes to timeline 3.
I've been seeing a lot of people say that Genesis is using time manipulation like Sephiroth as well which is why Zack survives but I feel like the ff7r ending implied too heavily that the party's destruction of the whispers led to Zack's survival.
That is stupid. You're saying the party has no reason to pursue Sephiroth since he never killed the president and free Jenova's body in timeline 3 but yet they are going after Sephiroth in the ending.
soldiers are figuratively government's dogs and they do what they are commanded to do
Timeline 2 sephiroth is in timeline 3 along with the party. Also, the party left midgar and are unaware of any differences from timeline 2 and 3. In their minds, Sephiroth did kill President Shinra.
This shit is probably gonna have someone dying in aeris's place, her dying or not basically only means so much, and if he can avoid super powered holy by letting the ancient live he will, but everyone else is free game. Cloud won't die because cloud will give him the black materia in the end, but I still think someone will die to make a point and aeris's living basically dooms them all to death via meteor since basic holy isn't strong enough.
But first, we need to talk about parallel universes...
Zack timeline dog is cuter, it's the better timeline.
