Will the remake do it justice?
It's already a perfect game for it's time (zoomers need not apply) so, what exactly can they remake?
RE4
Removing the tank controls but updating the ganados to compensate.
Basically keep the camp but up the action to silly levels of 11.
Fuck no, it's nearly perfect as is and they'll fuck it up in a plethora of ways
user, the remake is already on the works though...
>$2.99 DLC that gives you the Chicago Typewriter on your first playthrough
Not being able to move while aiming is unforgivable past 2005. They need to allow that then make all the enemies more ferocious.
>Ashley will be wearing a burqa
>Leon will be a drug-addled trasnvestite
>Ada will be an 80-year old chinese hag
>obligatory rape scenes with Luis
Absolutely not. RE4 Leon is basically sheer perfection as a main protagonist design, the only place to go is down. I'm still very interested in seeing what they do with it though.
>Will the remake do it justice?
Not really, seeing this game on the RE Engine really tickles my fancy. Knowing Capcom and how they handle the last two remakes, I highly doubt it'll be a 1:1 remake. It would be cool if they expanded on the Ada story by adding a second quest, like they did with the previous ones. Still gonna buy it.
Q: Will the remake do it justice?
A: Fuck no
Imagine this is what ticks you off and not makes you play vidya, lmao filtered
Where is everyone? Maybe playing Fortnite?
>It would be cool if they expanded on the Ada story by adding a second quest
Knowing capcom i really know this won't be happening
But god if they actually make a proper Ada scenario like a RE2 route I can literally die happily.
>Will the remake do it justice?
Probably not
For the love of god Capcom don't fuck this cheesy goodness.
>"Leetle rough, dunchu tink?"
Most important thing is will the Merchant be kept?
Why the fuck wouldn't he?
Your hands are small. Maybe you are Donald Drumpf?
I did a recent playthrough. A lot of the game felt like more of a generic showcase for the new ots controls than specifically an RE title that featured them, cool in 2005 but now that ots is nothing special I'd like to see them to turn it into more of a focused horror game.
>(zoomers need not apply)
zoomers are fine with it, its not really that hard. Its the tank controls from the og games people cant get used too. But if I had to pick one thing to add to re4 its .
Resident Evil 4:
>Where's everyone going? Bingo?
REmake 4:
>Fuck, now what?
>turning RE4 into a horror focused game
So, ruining it?
I'm just worried they will take him out and just replace him with a boring menu like what they added in Remake 3
>Shit, it's that fucking dog!
>Your fucking right hand comes off, you stupid bastard?
>Saddler, you're fucking smalltime, asshole.
>zoomers are fine with it, its not really that hard
No they're not, there was a thread a few days ago of someone whining about RE4 and claiming it had ''tank'' controls.
Is the swearing in the remakes really this bad? No interest in playing them
>Putting horror back into a game that took horror out of a horror franchise
>ruining it
No its not.
RE4 has plenty of horror, but the whole point of RE4 was to add more action-ey elements for a different formula, and not taking it to an extreme like RE6 and not being absolute dogshit like RE5, it's the perfect balance. if you want more horror then RE4 is not the game you're looking for.
Resident Evil 0 fucking blows
>It's already a perfect game
Stop there. No point in a remake.
Not a western developer
the wii version already did it justice, what are you talking about?
I don't get it, the most recent version of RE1 was basically a port of the gamecube RE1 remake, and that came out before the original release of RE4.
Anyway if they leave the script alone it has potential, I'd like to see it without the constant pausing for inventory and pickups. I'd also like to see if they make the Island less generic.
