The first one isn't a crime, because the source material provides the initial idea, and the fans build upon it.

Shit fanart however has no excuse. The least you can do is copy the source material's style.

Couldn't tell you how many times I've been drawn to something through good fanart, only to find that the thing in question is a far cry from the fanart. I guess I consider blue balling to be a crime.

Its not that, its just when I hear them constantly imply like they'd rather be a wolf or cat when in reality they'd rather have 1 or 2 features of them like ears and a tail while maintaing their whole human figure.
I'll be honest having a tail sounds pretty fucking cool though. But a tail exclusively none of that other stuff.
