It's a fortnite breach. Anyone and everyone that's touched fortnite on anything is fucked. People are getting into accounts through a backdoor fortnite has going on and pretending to be users, while also stealing any money they can for shitty v-bucks. One of my friends were affected by it on their nintendo account and nintendo got their money back, but not without a fight from the shitheads behind fortnite, they don't care because they're making money off this shit but nintendo is doing their best to get refunds for victims.

It's not just nintendo accounts as 20 people tried getting into my playstation account the other day all within an hour of eachother.

You shouldn't use Google Authenticator. That app sucks, and if you ever lose your current phone, you're fucked. Authentication through SMS ou backup e-mail (through code) would've been safer.

Use Authy instead. It uses the same open source protocol for 2fa so anything works in it.

Any service that accepts Google authenticator accepts Authy, they use the same protocol.
Authy is open source and has the option to cloud save for free, so you can sync your 2FA codes between phones and computers without losing them. It also supports password encryption.
