Why the fuck would the president personally meet with the terrorist group who wants to kill him? Barret could literally just machinegun him to death in the original
Oh anons...
You don't kill a leader. YOu must let the public see him fall. Otherwise, the rebellion means nothing.
fuck the shitty hologram, why was this reactor level so long and fucking boring?
>Barret could literally just machinegun him to death in the original
He could also do it in the remake, but he chose not to in both cases. How does the hologram fix this?
its almost comical how much the characters swear in this game
Have to admit, if they actually went with the OG version of that scene, that'd DEFINITLY become a changebad ghost moment where Barret's attack would almost hit Senior Shinra (will we EVER get his first name?) but then changebad ghosts redirect it, since they have been used to cover such plot holes in some cases, so for those who hate the changebad ghosts, it's probably better we got this.
Not to mention a few secs later "The Airbuster" starts playing so if you are still occupied with the hologram at that point, then you are an autistic retard with shittaste.
Gotta pad for time somewhere.
You think the president's gun would not be at least stronger than Palmer's Mako Gun that turned him into a quasi-boss fight in the OG at a much later point?
Why would Barret choose to shoot him anyway? Barret's an idealist who can't deal with actually taking the life of a person with a face and name.
