Starfield and elder scrolls 6 would have to be amazing in to order to be redeemed and let face it, not gonna won't happen.
Godd doesn't need to be redeemed, I can't stay mad at him!
Post yfw starfield IS TES 6
What even is his current, effective influence on Bethesda's projects ?
As far as we know he could just be a cardboard man Zenimax puts forward solely for advertising. The industry is full of people like that
Rood Broward is still a very high position creative director, he has a lot of say in the direction and large strokes of the games Bethesda is making.
I don't think he'll still be there by the time they come out.
What would say he doesn’t? He makes it very clear when he wasn’t involved in certain games like TES:O and F76
I've no evidence to back this, so think what you will. But I don't think Todd has as much creative control over the flow of projects now, that along with the high budget for AAA games, I figure he's being rail roaded by the powers that be, it makes sense to be given how streamlined F4 was. Listening to him, I really believe he has a passion to make good games but it just can't be
Starfield maybe, but TES will probably be ruined by zenimax.
>Hitler
>High tier
>Hirohito
>Villain
shit list
Would be kino
They don't need to be redeemed in my eyes. Skyrim and Fallout 4 were both great games to me. Fucking up on a cash grab project with 76 is fucking nothing to me. I still have high hopes for their next project.
Of course it's not even a question when he tells us he's not involved with some projects. Though he had a lot to say about F76 for someone not involved in it.
In an interview with uesp wiki he described and shared some notes of his workings for Skyrim, and it indeed was some very broad and general stuff. Though Skyrim was almost ten years ago. I wonder how much changed since then.
So what does he do these days you think he would stoop so low as to just be a marketing guy? Nobody even likes him anymore he is possibly one of the biggest memes in the industry today besides fuckboy kojima
>Nobody even likes him anymore he is possibly one of the biggest memes in the industry today
I think he still has some goodwill with the public at large. It's hard to fathom. And hard to predict if it will have any true impact on marketing.
The dude's a passionate, or at least a very convincing actor.
Todd doesn't need to redeem himself. He makes great games, and you can take 'em or leave 'em.
He defends some real trashy games constantly though. And went to hiding for a year after Fallout 76 release
What goodwill? Nobody trusts him anymore, he has become a complete meme. I recall the announcement of F76 on twitch so well, when he popped up. That was the last time he had any goodwill. After that he went to E3 with nothing to show kek disaster after disaster. Oh yeah nvm they showed Br for fallout

No there are people making a better ES game.
How the fuck can people be this retarded, the people who are taking all fallout 76 garbage decisions are the same making TES6 right now, on the same engine by the way, there is 0 chance it will be over 4/10

No
They think Bethesda is the same compny. It died with Skyrim. Ya hate to see it
More like a soft-hearted devil.
I want to see him cry for all the lies he has said. I want to see Bethesda bankrupt.
>it died with skyrim
nice bait. It was a progression of RPG decline after daggerfall, even morrowind had major faults. There's a butterzone for everyone, daggerfall being closest to pure RPG for mega spergs and skyrim being closest to pure action for mega normies.
Morrowind is usually cited as the butterzone. Graphics that do in fact exist, probably the peak of TES world design, and elements of pure RPG that are addicting.
It's not even his fault the games are bad, its the higher ups at zenimax that keep telling bethesda to make bad decisions.
He'll be redeemed when he dies
Imagine deluding execs into thinking 76 was anywhere close to even alpha stage. If you can't say no to your boss, you're not fit to run a game studio.
fuck todd
No, its still a lot of his fault. If you see his interviews he talks about "stream lining" as if its always a good thing. He said he tries to remove shit that to him "isnt needed". Magic crafting removed, mysticism removed, skills/leveling/attributes dumbed down, radiant ai dumbed down, variety of weapons dumbed down, guild progression dumbed down.
I dont care about muh rpg design it was simply the last fun game they made
starfield will get canceled for sure
bethesda cant even program vehicles in fallout you think they can manage starships
who says the game will have you flying starships?
A thousand more retards say that about oblivion, and morrowind, and fallout 3. Just because that's the last time you found joy in your life doesn't mean your opinion is worth having
He's already redeemed in my eyes because most of the issues in Skyrim and Fallout 4 weren't even his fault. He's the fall guy.
He may
>people unironically think Todd is the sole person behind all the bad things with fallout and elder scrolls
this is what happens when memes rot your brain.
>He defends some real trashy games constantly though.
Which ones ? Outside of F76
dude has beta energy its not his fault
"Ships" are just doorways with loading screens, calling it
How were they not his fault? Skyrims shitty guilds, super unbalanced and fucked up skill tree/leveling system, static world, and the dumbing down of the entire lore of Skyrim. There is a shit ton of stuff like flying whales, noridc pantheon and werebears simply missing.
>Representative of the company lies to your fucking face
lmao even worse than Biodrones.
Games are for fun, user. Take your meds
They're either going to be his second (and last) chance or the final nail(s) in the coffin. Quite interesting from a character arc point of view, like, this is it, the hero's big moment, he's at his lowest, will he be able to pull through and rise above? Will he climb that mountain? Will he complete the hero's journey and rise far higher than ever before? Or will he fall, into oblivion, and be forever banished from this realm, dooming it in the process?
What does he need redemption for?
Even if the games are good, people are going to doompost and pretend that it's the worst game to ever release and pretend everyone hates it despite it selling millions like every other mainline bethesda game does.
the boxes the games come in could be filled with actual human feces and the psychotic cult that is the bethesda fanbase will still buy it in droves
all it took to erase the awful legacy of fo76 was some shitty NPC's that should have been there from the start and people started lapping that right back up immediately, they're fucking sociopaths who cannot stop buying todds shit
well he's still going to be Jewish, so no.
The spaceships are more like space stations.
For space combat think mother ship zeta power management.
