Going Commando. The original has this special feeling only it has, though. I like it.

The first
Platforming focus, non-inflated bolt economy makes ammo management important, the wrench is an actual weapon instead of a puzzle/movement gimmick thanks to its upgrades and once you get a weapon you have it and don't have to farm for ages to max it out

ACiT was almost perfect. Going Commando is my personal favorite.

Old Ratchet was a Metroidvania. Change my mind.

I miss the economy of the first two games. It's just not fun being handed every valuable device for little to nothing!

The original on the PS2

3. Easily. Fuck the haters.

This here

>tfw we'll never get a faithful remaster of the older ratchet games because it would undermine their shitty movie
I actually want to know who sat there and said 'Let's make a movie about our game, and then make a game about that movie', who thought this was a solid idea?

TEAM MARKSTAR IS MAKING THEIR DARK IN RED ZONE
WHADDYA THINK OF THAT, JUAAAAAAAAAAAANITA?

>You now remember they made a movie

Does anyone at Insomniac or PlayStation even acknowledge the movie? I think it's safe to say that everyone's moved on.

Tools of the Destruction was fun. It wasn't bad by any means. just short.

First has lots of Soul, but not the best. I'd say Going Commando is really good, lots of polish there. Up your arsenal peaks.

Never played Deadlocked or Clank in Time

The series peaked early, just wish the last boss wasn't a cakewalk

The fuck do you mean moved on? They haven't made a sequel. That should tell us how 'well' their shitty remake did. I just can't for the life of me figure out why they made their game into a movie to then make it into a game, complete with all of the fucking dumbass mechanics movie games used to pull in tow like the classic 'run towards the camera' segments nobody fucking likes because they're cheap memory games.

>That should tell us how 'well' their shitty remake did.
It's Insomniac's second best selling game.

Best selling doesn't mean most profitable when you make a shitty movie alongside of it, all of the marketing budget with it, and the game cost orders of magnitudes more than the games it's dogging for style to produce.

Honestly a very hard decision for me.
1-4 all have things I like, and I like ToD and CiT too.
My gut reaction is telling me Going Commando. It has it's bumps without a doubt but it just stuck with me the most.

The missed the easier lay up ever. The first games story was tailor made for a movie adaptation.

i honestly always found the bosses in platformers to be the worst parts of the game, ratchet included

I liked tools of destruction, a crack in time and Gladiator a lot

The first game is the best

Lockdown is the only one I can really remember.

Deadlocked* ffs

I've only played 1 and 2 and I liked 2 better

Is the first game worth playing?
I've played every mainline Ratchet game except 1 and Into the Nexus.

Yes you retard

also the menu had the most soul with the slight flickering from time to time
