I definitely would prefer entirely new levels, HOWEVER, GG ones and obscure shit like Toxic Caves are just as good. GG ones I feel could be expanded on to a point where they feel like entirely new zones anyway, they're comparitavely pretty bare-bones compared to the 16 bit zones.
Also, Sunset Park would be based as fuck, more train levels please, the Mirage Saloon Eggman locomotive gave me the need for that shit.

Sky High Zone reimagined would be fucking rad too, that's some shit I felt could have always been infinitely better than it was. Using your momentum to grab the hang glider and make it faster that way,coupled with mechanics similar to Ray's flight.
