I don't even care about the details of when PC will take the lead again. The next gen consoles might be significantly more powerful than a mid to top range PC of the day on launch - I actually hope they will. I want good consoles. But 2, 3 years down the line. Probably not the case anymore. It's just the way things are.

If you're getting a new pc it will be obviously much more expensive than a console but if you stick with it for the next generation it will actually be cheaper because you'll only have to upgrade a few parts.

Anybody who owns a 2060S or 2070S right likely won't have to upgrade from now until the entire lifespan of the new consoles, sorry but that's how it is
