I beat okami on new game plus 7 times and paper mario ttyd 8 times

only game i finished twice in a row is dead space. one cause i loved it, and two cause it was the only game i had at the time.

Any worthwhile game should be designed in such a way that it allows for different experiences on repeat playthroughs.

i replay all the mega man games from clasic to zx every year, i specially enjoy the zero games on hard mode and zx advent on expert mode

but i would never replay a pokemon game, unless my data somehow got deleted, on the other hand there's games that want you to replay it i played the shit out of devil survivor 2 i think i only had to get 1 more ending in a certain way for the last title so my data is 99% complete

Trying out different things. That's like saying you only beat dark souls once and didn't go back and try magic after or other builds.

I finished RE3 yesterday 5 times in a row to get the platinum trophy.

So less than 13 hours pretty much.

1. Multiple story paths
2. Multiple playstyles
3. Fun gameplay that can be divorced from the story. Same idea with multiplayer.
4. Being poor and stretching a game's content as far as possible.

Illegitimate Reasons:
1. Integrating a game into your identity and compulsively replaying it as a replacement for a personality.
