I like both.
AC only becomes truly good in the post-game, when all the bullshit is out of the way and you can just fight shit.
It doesn't have the same depth of any DMC or Byo game tho.
It's fun for what it is but that's it.

Astral Chain was much more interesting, not sure I'd say it's better. They're both at least worth playing and getting good at.

In defense of that user, I can see why you wouldn’t want your first run-through of a difficulty to be modded like that. It’s borderline cheating.

I enjoy Must Style Mode though I stopped my run when I realized I had to keep alt-tabbing to disable it whenever a blood clot showed up but I wouldn’t use it before I had earned my S-Ranks the fair way.

Yeah it sucks. The story in general is really boring to replay too so it doesn't help that you have to play other characters. DMCV is definitely the least replayable DMC.
