>What is Board Game Online?
Mario Party on steroids without a visible board, and instead random events occurring each turn. You can wind up in a brothel, in the wild west, on a pirate ship, or a magic shop. Fuck with other players with an assortment of weapons, magic, tools, rabid monkeys etc. and emerge victorious. There is serious keikaku potential involved in winning.
A lot of the humor in the game is rooted in mid 2000's internet memes so be prepared.

Read the chatlog, it'll tell you who exploded their exploding sheep knocking you back into another player who stabbed you, or if you tried to kill someone who had Blessing of Vengeance, etc.

To prevent everyone from getting stunlocked to death in a clusterfuck at Space 0, nobody can use items on the first couple turns
>how do I git gud?
1) Read item descriptions and figure out how to use them. e.g. preparing teleporter when you predict someone is going to knock you back a significant amount, or knowing when to use Hypno Glasses to perfectly screw someone over.
2) Learn which item shops well what you need at the moment, and use your Wildcard Shops wisely (you get another one every turn but it doesn't stack in your inventory)
3) Pray to the RNG gods.
If you make your own game, remember to enable Expert mode, reinforcements, survival, and disable the gay minigames, and make the room Private
