He's probably a little too big, but it's not that he's giant-sized it's that the giants in PW4 are much smaller than they are in the actual series. Whitebeard is 6.6 meters tall but the average giant is around 20 meters tall.

Whitebeard's size is accurate. The giants are too small.
Though I'd actually prefer it if the canonically super huge characters like Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido, Kata, etc. were a tad smaller. It's not conducive to good gameplay and playability to have them that huge, and considering not all sizes in the game are accurate anyway, might as well favor playabiity.
