Is there a book you'd like to see get turned into a game

Discworld. Text adventures don't count
By what fucking company?
I wouldn't want squeenix ruining my favourite literature with their time janny bullshit.
>tfw no Foundation mod for Stellaris where you can try to keep the Empire together or play as a splinter nation
>tfw no Mule crisis
has any of the warhammer 40k games included Ciaphas Cain?
Doesn't Discworld has point & click games that are King's Quest levels of bullshit?
Apparently it does. I'm going to make an executive decision and say those don't count either
Something set on Roshar would be cool, maybe let people pick a faction of Knights Raidiant to join and that determines your playstyle and skill trees
>stellaris introduces ring worlds
>they’re no where near the proper scale of a ring world
unending disappointment
Dune
>Ring worlds
>No Colonizable Dyson Sphere
The Dyson sphere designs are so bad too. a Dyson sphere built with a dozen giant hexagons? Jesus.
Bleeding Edge
Narrative adventure game with a fully explorable DeepArcher (authentic early 2000s graphics too)
Not a full book in its own right, but the Grimm tale How Six Made Their Way in the World (or whichever of the zillion other names it travels under) could serve as a basic skeleton/inspiration for a party-based RPG. It's about a group that overthrows a tyrannical monarchy. The main character is an ex-soldier, and he recruits a guy with super strength, a guy with super speed, a master sharpshooter, a guy with ice powers and a guy with wind powers. It's basically The Avengers 19th-Century Edition. Maybe tweak the last two into an attack-magic/healer pair and you've got a pretty classic party setup: balance, tank, speed, range, damage, healing. Story itself is too short to fill out a full game, but you could do a lot of embellishing and just use the tale as a springboard, if you follow me.
While I'm sperging about Grimm tales, I'll also mention that The Two Brothers is about dudes who each end up with a troupe of obedient animal sidekicks. Not a million miles away from being Pokemon trainers, those guys.

Even if you ignore Discworld 1+2, you should give Discworld Noir a shot.
Looks like it's on MAB so sure I'll check it out, why not
Could it work?
I don't read
Still no proper Conan game.
Old Rockstar could do it.
>rape and murder and rape and murder and rape and murder and rape and murder and rape and murder your way across the desert for 100 hours until everything goes to shit
>then get raped and murdered
It wouldn’t make a good game
Night land, or any 'dying earth' sci fi book
>tfw almost had a tv series.
I'm not exactly sure how this would be as a game though. espionage with some bullshit combat?
Is this book as bad as The Road or is it actually worth reading?
Southern reach
I'm fucking amazed at how good google is.
Just make the best parts a Witcher-like game
user sell me on this series. I tried listening to Prelude and it was just so painfully 50s scifi, with all those long expositions about their technologies at every other turn. Should I just read the original trilogy?
Alice in Wonderland, but this time it is not an edgy copy.
blood meridian maybe
>badass lines then violent action
perfect book to be made into a game
