as for OP, learn2google. /v is not a safe place for accurate reviews. people advising have never played the games.

also, free stuff is free. grab and down them if you feel like it. if not, keep them and maybe one day you'll feel like it.

Just finished Uncharted 1 before this collection went up.

Uncharted 1 is fucking awful because of one major problem: controls.

Thank god it was short. Characters are fun, gunplay is actually not terrible and the game picks up as you get past the first hour or so which is mostly scripted walking and climbing shit.

Uncharted 2 is a hundred times better and is worth playing so far (still has the beginning walking and climbing stuff but it's more interesting). You could easily skip to this game and just have less investment in the characters from the get go.

Uncharted 3 I hear is when Sony and Naughty Dog started to go downhill and make games more like movies rather than actual games. Naughty Dog always liked their cutscenes (Jak 2 and 3 had loads of them) but I hear U3 takes it too far.

Journey is a critically loved indie darling that is well regarded by even some normies despite being an artsy game.

Forgot to elaborate. DO NOT play this game on a difficulty higher than normal. It's just as broken as it was on PS3 but its a tiny bit better. You move way to fucking fast and you accidently do shit you don't want to do cuz buttons do multiple different things you don't want to do (I want to pick up ammo, not a new gun, I want to enter cover, not roll).

I finished Uncharted 1 sometime ago but I honestly still didn't mind it/
It had it's charm even with the poor controls.
I think the biggest problem to me was just the setting got boring, along with the seemingly constant shoot outs.
Any place that wasn't a jungle was nice.

Honestly what's I hated the most about the first game was the "Final Boss".
Shit might have well have been a cutscene

The boss fight was hot fucking garbage. The entire game literally feels like its designed to be played like you're following instructions because of how linear and simplistic it is but the final boss is straight up horrible.

Run to cover BUT DON'T TRY TO RUSH OR FLANK JUST SIT IN COVER BECAUSE THE BOSS WILL ACTUALLY SNAP TARGET ONE SHOT YOU IF YOU GO OVER THIS INVISIBLE LINE. Shoot the bosses goons while playing wack-a-mole with the actual boss (you're the mole) until you kill his henchmen and then he runs away. Repeat 3 1/2 fucking times. Save every last round of ammo or you will have to redo this shit cuz you can't run up and melee BECAUSE THE BOSS IS A GIANT FAGGOT OH MY GOD.

The part were the naked mutant monkeys started attacking you in the WW2 submarine in Uncharted 1 took me by suprise not gonna lie.

Uncharted 3 really felt like it was made by a fan who didn't understand the themes of the original. Every single fucking climbing sequence did the *environment piece breaks off* "oh shit!" moment. And then you get punched in the gut by trying to make the twist subvert expectations, but it's just lame.

This was what pissed me off more than anything. Along with the fact that the cover can just be shot away.

One thing I liked about Uncharted one was the supernatural elements.
They can be somewhat freaky and terrifying but if you're fighting some regular guys and they show up. they can take out some of each other. I always love seeing two different factions of enemies fight while I just sit there.

You can play it single player without ps+ but you need ps+ for coop

The only thing I don't like about uncharted 1 is the jet ski sections
