square enix just released a reboot of ffvii with only midgar and had the guts to call it a remake, it's probably the biggest scam in game history.

That's false, there were multiple interviews where they talked about since the game is only going to be Midgar, they could expand it in ways the original game didn't (THAT on the other hand is basically a lie as the game is still beat for beat the same story just longer).

FF7R being episidoe is not false advertising. The game being labelled a remake and then actually having a plot that explicitly goes off the rails from the original canon involving time travel and becoming a reboot, and the fact that this was expliitly hidden from the world and mysteriously no paid reviewer ever mentioned it, THAT is false advertising.

Never blind purchase, no matter how much you trust the person making the product. No matter how sure you are, always do your research. Otherwise you deserve to be taken advantage of.

People are not required to do any research before buying a product. If I did that, I would spend my entire day doing groceries and spend more time reading movie reviews than watching the movie itself.
