I own a Lite and a regular Switch. When playing handheld I always use the Lite. It's much more comfortable to hold and feels sturdier.

I got one for $100 from a family member. It's fine I guess but I never play the thing.

You should

Why? Video games are pretty shit and boring these days

I've got one and it's nice to play while taking a shit.

I've never had a problem with the size and weight of the standard Switch, and I prefer having the option of docked mode.

How long does it take you to take a shit?

Good luck finding one, people are using checkout bots now to fuel the demand and resell them for $500

Where I work we've been getting in lites pretty steadily. I haven't seen a regular Switch in a few weeks though.

Bought both during quarantine for 400 total. Bought 2 copies of animal crossing too. It's well worth it, as I bought a switch lite first, the screen is crisp and overall I prefer to play the lite when I can because it just feels like the better version.

Everywhere around me for 200 miles is sold out of Switches and Lites. Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Gamestop, even Kohls.

OH yeah, bought a gun too, stimulus check was just free money for me.

It is annoying though. We fulfill online orders and i've seen multiple times a few orders that had like 4+ lites in one order.

switch lite is a great console, the only downside for me is I think the library for the switch is lacking, but it had enough of the games that I liked to make it worth it.

switch lite in a nutshell: it is the best console to play 8+ year old games

Source, user?

Thinking of blowing a paycheck on one so I can get my friend an Animal Crossing machine

Can you put CFW on the Lite yet?

Why buy both?

Cool gun, by the way

I prefer the original because of the versatility of it. I rarely do take it with me but I find seperating the joy cons to be very comfortable when playing certain games

Somewhat unrelated question, does the updated/revised version of the Switch have any advantage over the old one other than improved battery life? I'm thinking of getting a Switch and I have to decide between an older, hackable model and the new version (which is also slightly cheaper). I don't much care about battery life, so I'm heavily leaning towards the hackable version so far.

Is there any other reason to buy the newer version?

I'll buy it if it gets hacked, seems like a nice handheld emulation device with the added bonus of some exclusives.

Shit because if it starts to drift its FUBAR.

It's more reliable/durable but I suppose that's kind of a given

I have both a standard and a lite, the lite is a lot more portable if that's what you're looking for

enjoy drifting

I have the yellow Switch Lite. It's not bad, but I keep prioritizing my PC library over it so I hardly touch it.

Like the joycons or the hardware itself? I only plan to use it docked pretty much, are the older versions prone to failure in some way? I hadn't heard about anything like that.

US 1911 A1 actually.
Cause I found a switch for 200 flat 2 weeks after I bought the switch. This was already when they were scalping, and my Gf had already taken over the animal crossing island and I didn't want to share so I got her one.
