So what's the remaster gonna do? Make the graphics worse like the sequels? Theyre delusional if they think people are gonna buy it for the gameplay. The only thing I would want out of it is the original multiplayer but theres no fucking chance of that happening.

Far Cry Instincts for the Xbox/360 was a better game than Far Cry.

"Remastered" so the story will be the same, maybe theyll decide to add an ending this time, the game will play more like call of duty, and the multiplayer will be scrapped for something thats more generic.

Yeah but I expected them to just slap the old assets on it and call it a remaster. If they're actually using new assets on top of the new engine then it's closer to a remake than a remaster

publishing deals often include transfer of the rights to the publisher. Crysis is an EA property, same thing happened with ubisoft and far cry. EA has been consistent in working with crytek and not just running off with the brand like ubisoft did at least.
