Lets have a nice thread about this timeless classic. What you are playing, looking forward to or any questions. These times when its cheap, wvery model can be jailbroken and you can use regular ad card, no reason not to get ir

There was some 3rd person RPG on the vita, I can't remember what it was. Kinda felt like playing PSO+Monster Hunter. Shit was pretty fucking fun.
Phantasy Star Nova?
Nah, wasn't a Phantasy Star Title.
Just sold my vita cuz I got a ps3 felt pointless having the two, still Vita is such great handheld
Found it, Jesus that took a lot of searching.
Ragnarok Odyssey
Soul Sacrifice, toukiden, freedom wars?
>freedom wars
>toukiden
Both pretty solid. I have Toukiden 2 on PC now, but been playing PSOBB.
But it was Ragnarok Odyssey.
how well does it run emulated games and how far can it emulate (as in the generations)?
I've sold my hacked 3DS and I miss playing something in bed, was actually thinking about giving the vita a shot last night.
>emulation
Do you have a decent phone? If you have anything recent it'll emulate better than the Vita can and much easier. outside of vita titles
I'll probably play Danganronpa V3. Played it on PC at launch but liked it less than 1 and 2. Maybe Dangan needs portability. We'll see
My Vita's left analogue nub is starting to die. It's like there's something stuck under it, but I opened the thing up and nothing. Maybe I'll just order a new one.
Looking back on my veeter days, I actually miss playing Helldivers despite it being a horrible P2W DLCfest. I'll never get rid of mine, looking forward to playing Spelunky again on that ageless screen.
eh I'm just used to having the 3ds as a retrogaming portable device
I do have a decent phone but I hate playing on the touchscreen and battery usually gets blasted by emulators so I'd rather try a handheld
I bought that game at the airport on my way to Colombia for my honeymoon, I spend my whole time during my honeymoon finding time from my wife to keep playing
The OLED Vita I have is the best handheld gaming system ever made.
It's a damn shame they hardly made any games for it.
>touch screen
There are plenty of quality controllers now friendo.
It was ahead of it's time. The ergonomics needs an overhaul as well.
But, remote playing PS4 is the shit, except for the latency.
If they held off and launched instead of or along side the PS4 pro, and addressed the issues of the original, it would be the shit. Unfortunately they fucked it up to the point where consumers won't give them another chance for another 5-6 years.
>Bought a PS Vita thinking Capcom will release any MH on it
>unopened PS vita has been kept on my shelf for years only getting dust until the discontinuation of console manufacturing
>Sell it at 3/4 the price since literally no one wants it in my country
Tell me, aside from the Vita games and the back touchscreen, what can a PS Vita do that a modern android with cheap 3rd-party controller can't?
Why would you buy a console without getting games or something for it?
I bought a PS4 Pro without any games 3 months before the MHW release and never opened it until the launch date of the game.
I'm just that kind of guy i guess...
Project diva f2nd and trails in the sky evo.
Trails in the Sky what?
Do you play anything else? You had two Toukiden, Freedom Wars, two God Eaters, Phantasy Star Nova and Ragnarok Odissey Ace trying to be a placebo for that loss and you didn't even looked?
Where do you live? An unopened NTSC region vita will sell for 2-3x Times the original price easy.
uwu
Some sort of hd remake of the first game, only jap but you can patch it.

The three games are coming to smartphones soon
It hurts that so few games run smoothly on it. Still, I can't deny I played the shit out of Wipeout 2048/HD/Fury on it, even if it ran at a less than optimal and really subpar framerate.
Other than that, great console and the best ergonomics out of any handheld ever made.
The usual, up to 4th gen (it can also emulate PSX near flawlessly, but only PSX. Also has PSP emulation built-in). It's not a bad portable emulator, though it does struggle with some Super FX SNES games.
I like playing Tetris on my vita
I like playing Quake on my Vita
