How would the games work on the Switch lite? I think now that the Lite is out theyre done with labo and all console hardware thats like that.
It implies that whatever new model it is will share its firmware with the current models. Unlikely for something as massively different as a console with an extra screen.

Then again putting out a new kind of (3)DS that runs on Switch firmware, selling that for hundreds alongside some $50 re-releases of old portable games instead of just putting anything on the Switch/e-shop is crazy enough that I would believe Nintendo would do it.
