Fallout 4

Why we hate it again?

Attached: fallout.jpg (1280x720, 131.7K)

because it's irredeemable shit

Because it's not a Fallout game.

Because it's trash

Because it's a game

It's boring repetitive open world garbage.

What Michael Jackson mod is that?

>mods for FNV
>overhauls, quest mods, weapon packs, full new fanmade story DLCs with unique locations and gear
>mods for F4
>graphic mods an visual shit
>weapon skins and shitty model ports
>mods to remove and fix 90% of the game's shitty features
>female El Shadmano-style skins and body types
Imagine going through such an ordeal to just jerk off.

good ideas, poor execution. plays like Bethesda doesn't know what they want to do with the IP

Because i'm your dad and i say so

>shit dialogue and system to convey it
>barely an RPG
>basically an FPS action looter shooter with light LIGHT RPG elements
>shit story
>the map is the least mediocre thing
>the guns make no sense
>the quest lines are stupid
>the whole story is just stupid

your dumb ass virgin mods wont make us play it

Music's boring, plot is dumb, having a voiced protagonist was unnecessary in a game franchise centered around role playing, the craft system is garbage along with the settlement system, and piss poor enemy variety.

On the modding side I just suck at using bodyslider and its complimentary softwares because I still can't figure out how to give all NPCs and myself random and unique body types. All feels a lot more cumbersome in comparison to Oblivion and New Vegas.

Tbh it's the best Betheshit Fallout title. NV was Obsidian, and 3 paid just enough service to the wider lore to be held accountable for taking a shit on it. 4, on the other hand, is too retarded in regards to the lore to take seriously, so it gives closure to the fact that Fallout is now just wacky 50s post-nuclear run-n-gun. They did the openworld part better than in 3 too, where it was always just walk to hotspot and do thing. Now there's less walking and more hotspots. You empty it out faster, sure, but it also feels faster because you aren't spending 10 minutes moving from place to place.
Now, I do hate all Betheshit Fallout for shitting on the wider lore and having nothing interesting to say, but if I wanted a Fallout game I wouldn't bother with a Betheshit title anyway. If I want an open-world shooty-shoot, then it's a grand time. They should go full Just Cause levels on that front if they give so little care to the Fallout universe and story.

>lack of rpg mechanics
>lack of dialogue choices
>shallow characters
>shallow main quests
>literally 2 good side quests
>awful factions that don't make sense and are filled with plot holes or mary sues
>nothing to do but KILL
>half assed story
>awful looking guns and armors are everywhere (albeit not all) - armors are especially bad

thats the cons, there are pros too sure like base system but cons outweigh the pros

And the thing about new vegas and skyrim, at least the stories were decent and had a good plot line. They followed the heros journey. Yea skyrim had copy and paste houses and dungeons, but that can be fixed with mods, you can't fix the main story of a game, because it would be just too much work. New vegas is the same, The areas aren't that developed, but at least the lore and story was decent and was a RPG game.

Someone mind telling me why they removed weapon and armor condition?

Because they add nothing to the game

it's a theme park

Trash as an RPG both in terms of narrative and mechanics.
They improved the combat but without the RPG elements holding it up it just becomes a very mediocre FPS that's set in a sandbox for some reason.

Incorrect.

Please don't bargain with this retard.

This. It was just a layer of menu-scrolling tedium and nothing more.

Who said anything about bargaining? They got rid of the barter skill anyway.

To appease ADD morons like
and

Because Yas Forums hates videogames and has to shit on everything. Imagine playing Fallout 4 being so insecure about what other people think that you can't admit to having fun. That's neo Yas Forums for you.

>simple use of the weapon causes actual damage to the weapon's components that need to replaced rather than it just getting dirty and needing cleaning
the implementation was dumb

Tell me why having me lug around two extra copies of the same readily-available weapon just so I can hit R when it's highlighted in the pip-boy is extra difficulty, you fucking mong. If there was some sort of actual challenge to repairing then I'd miss it, but as it was it was literally just:
>earmark space
>keep loot
>press R
Wow, so fucking challenging. So rich. So much depth! It's incredible they got rid of it when it added so much to characterization and roleplay!

>Because Yas Forums hates videogames and has to shit on everything.
Nah, we just hate irredeemable garbage like your favorite game.

Hey i had a lot of fun in my two playthroughs, there i things i enjoy and that i wish they could expand upon, i guess mods will have to do the job once again

>I need to click a repair button every 20 minutes otherwise the game isn't fun

Yes, added layers of interaction add nothing to an RPG. Why even let you pick up guns and manage your inventory at all? They should change fallout games so you get a loadout at the start so you can just chillax and never worry about anything again that would be sick, dawg. And tight.

FYI: FO1 and FO2 didn't have equipment deterioration either, just the repair skill for world objects.

>I need to click button to maek thing happen in bibeo gane
This is where you're at right now.

I tried replaying it earlier this month and I gave up shortly after reaching Diamond City

>FYI: FO1 and FO2 didn't have equipment deterioration either
They didn't have many things that New Vegas had. Find another excuse.

How fucking bad are you at the game if you think there's a layer of interactivity besides press R involved in weapon upkeep and repair? You don't even need to put any points in repair to be able to play through. It was just an inventory sink to make up for the fact that vendors wouldn't have enough caps to pay you for all the weapons you could lug around to them.
Here's an idea. What if you instead had to do what suggested, and regularly maintain the weapon. You would have to do so either with some specialized inventory piece or through a skill check if you lack that inventory piece. Or even better, considering that the 3D games are the only ones where repairing was even a thing, you could have a minigame involved for it, like there is with lockpicking and hacking, which were also only minigames in the 3D titles.
Or you could stop being a shitposting twit.

Weapon condition is stupid, you can balance weapons by just adjusting the amount of ammo you can get out of them

You existing in the first place.

Terrible gimped dialogue, non existent stats and skills, awful world building where they learned nothing from New Vegas. Boring and uninspired characters and story.
