It's literally to attract as many sponsors as possible, that's it, there's no "hurr durr muh china" when CSGO has been growing in popularity there. Some brands just don't want to be associated with blood and guns, like how Orange (a phone operator in France) refuses to sponsor the CSGO branch of Vitality because they don't want their brand to be associated with Terrorism even if it's only virtual.
