FF7 Remake 10/10

Nice user, got mine last night too, the last one I need was the fucking 9 dresses, I legitimately never want to touch chapter 9 again, after those fucking hand lifts.

But I ended the plat with the dance so it was ultimately fitting

I did, haven't bought the dlc yet because it's still expensive so i'm not at 100%

Same, but I ultimately enjoyed every moment of it, especially hard mode, Im playing to the end once more as a victory lap with the OP trinket you get from the proud clod. Then im probably going to play the original.

Do you have to replay the whole game for the dresses? Or can you use chapter select? and how does it work for Tifa's dress?
The option for hers is back in chapter 3.

I don't think i've ever smiled so much playing a game, is that weird? I was genuinely laughing my ass off the first time i went to wall market

You can chapter select but you must finish the chapter. eg for Tifa you choose the option then finish the chapter, then jump to chapter 9

Nah, its fine to be happy with a video game, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

It's been a long time since a game has given me a big dumb grin so consistently, across nearly every bossfight, soundtrack and story beat.

I used ice for shiva because her healing pissed me off

The game saves your last relevant choice. So for example, if you go back to chapter 8 and rush through the story, with no sidequests, you'll get aerith's bad dress in chapter 9, however if you go back and do those sidequests, you'll get a different one.

I had 2 elemental materia, I don't recall the where I got the 2nd one. Had ele+ice on Aerith, ele+fire on cloud, who had both my healing/revival spells.

Fat Chocobo is a gimme, Leviathan can get messy, but with Aerith+Barret it's not a big deal, Bahamut is easily the hardest fight of them, even with the ele+fire defense for ifrit.

FF7R is ART. A truly incredible game.

Yeah Bahamut and even Leviathan requires well timed buffs. For me the trick to bahamut was to have ease up on dps after he counts down to one so your ATB bars fill up and you can heal up after megaflare. I never figured out when tidal wave was coming with leviathan though so i'd just buff randomly

This might be grasping at straws, but someone pointed out that the original FMV where Sephiroth shows up and kills Aerith is 7 seconds right to the moment she's killed.

Me too, can't wait for the second one.

He gave Cloud the ability to change 7 seconds in the past. Cloud made Zack survive his fight with Shinra.

Not only that, the music in the background while he says that is a remix of the City of the Ancients track from the og ff7

I just checked on youtube. It is 7 seconds from when sephiroth appears to when the sword goes through her. It actually makes sense I guess, since there was enough time for Cloud to save her, perhaps

it is probably the Aerith thing, but also Meteor took 7 days to summon
