Crysis Remake: Dead on Arrival

Lost interest the moment it wasn't crysis 4 or a spinoff.

Any news of VR?

No VR. But don't worry user, there's a switch version!

>No VR
Then why even bother? After Alyx every studio has to get into VR anyway to compete, is Crytek retarded?

Nobody gives a fuck about vr

Didn't they almost go bankrupt and couldn't pay their employees for ages?

COPE

yeah, and they said this is their last chance to make some $$$ or they're going to have to shutdown.
so of course that means making a retarded console port and abandoning their pc playerbase

It's almost like 90% of pc players will pirate the game or wait for it to be 90% of steam.

Consoles actually fund videogames and make companies money.

How is a remaster coming to pc "abandoning their pc playerbase". What a whiny crying pc cuck

>It's almost like 90% of pc players will pirate the game or wait for it to be 90% of steam.
durrhurrr PC players only pirate meme
fuck off retard

>console
who cares

>Ignores and thus admits that everyone will wait for it to be 90% off
Kek

>It's almost like 90% of pc players will pirate the gameu
Unless they use new version of Denuvo...

The PS3/360 versions are based on Cryengine 3 which was more suited for consoles at the time because of Crysis 2.

Pretty much this, a remaster is just a lazy triple dip.

I can't wait for the "OH NONONONO" threads to pop up, with a zoomed in picture of a leaf that isn't casting a shadow

crysis is the definition of soulless
the fact that people remember this game only as a benchmark indicates how shallow it actually was

this. the game itself was plain and boring as fuck it just had pretty graphics

which we all know is all that really matters, how pretty the fucking graphics are.

It had a sandbox-design in the first half of the game with the interresting nano-abilities.
It is just not well remembered for it's gamplay and story because they made the second half too linear and the enemies to annoying to fight. They also blew the mystery aspect of the story way too early.

Denuvo is not free retard. Denuvo license cost minimum 2-3 million dollar and this is a big number for crytek

>game is known to be a PC powerhouse game
>"lets make sequels and ports for consoles!"
>series gets put on ice and company is almost bankrupt

should've just made it a PS5/XSX launch title so they can push the console version further, which in turn benefits the pc version. I guess now we'll get a pc version that people can run buttery smooth on day 1 since it's a ps4 port based on the ps3 version lol

Crysis 1 is the only good one though.

So it's a demake
Crytek are such fucking retards

it'll use raytracing, there won't be such leaves.

Yeah but I was always hoping they'd make one similar to 1 / warhead

>Remove everything that would have been interesting and dumb it down
Not even a pirate desu

Crysis consoles didn't have downgraded AI. The ports were just buggier. This is being based on the PC version and console version as appropriate.

Source ?

Crytek released multiple VR games. How do people not know that?

>source: my ass

>Proceed to try and salvage the situation by releasing the game known to be a PC powerhouse on consoles
>Again
(remainder that Crysis was ported to Xbox 360 and PS3 with CryEngine 3)

Name a single problem with the controls of Crysis 360/PS3. and no, nobody gives a fuck about the fact you didn't like Crysis 2. This is a different with a different goddamn nanosuit. Explain what is wrong with the 2011 nanosuit from an actual gameplay perspective.
