I bought a used version at gamestop and was super excited to play it again after all those years. Sadly it didn't work.
I liked the choice of being evil, but holy shit the gameplay was kinda hollow given the fact that I went to the same exact planes and did the same exact quest lol. I remember doing light side first, and was like; yeah that was sick, let's do an evil run next. Same. Exact. Shit. Different bosses sometimes, especially at the end, but the overall gameplay from 1 to 2 was a decline for me
I will say that I did love gathering all the shards in the secondary versions of the planes for the optional end game bossarino; that was pretty cool

Yes actually; I had it running on my PSX Emulator last year when my buddies and I were living together. We played it very well, but my one friends is a complete Jew and made it into a competition and drove my other 2 friends off; fucking assholes man, it only takes 1
I remember my brother loving these games and me playing with him not really getting into it. Didn't matter though, I was just happy to play games with him.

the psx emulator has some slow downs on my set up but that was because i was using AMD and they hate openAL for whatever reason, i imagine with nvidia you could get good even frames

How does Diablo III end up being more casual than all of these? I got it on PS4 to play with a friend assuming it would be like BGDA, CoN and it practically plays itself even on the highest difficulty we can do.
played this for years with my brother and then again in college with my roommate and there are so few games that even come close

PSO, Shining Soul, Champions are some I've played. What are other games like this? I've never played diablo but isn't that supposed to be the shining example of that kind of game? Should I go play it now?

Go and Play Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and then get the mod Path of Diablo; very good right now imo, or just play Path of Exile for free; also a very good ARPG, but they don't come close to how Champions made me feel
I so desperately want to get couch co-op games in the works again; I just can't believe they died out so quickly. I swear I had maybe 5-7 years of based as fuck games before paid DLC judaia took over
