How do I get into RPGs with turn based combat?
For me it's just so tedious and boring.

Have you tried taking your ritalin?

See a psychologist for your ADHD.

I hate all turn-based games but for some reason i love HoMM3, i think it may have to do with its simplicity and speed

>ADHD
i don't know when i developed it but i think i might have it

sometimes a game gets into a loading screen and i tab back to my browser, i can't remember the last time i've played a game and i was fully immersed into it

>tab back to my browser
That sounds more like information addiction.

Why force yourself to play games that dont interest you?

then dont play them

you shouldn't, it's an autismo mechanic. It was from a time when only autistic nerds played videogames. Play a challeging realtime game like most normal people do.

This is your kitsune commando, tonight

Ershin!

what game is that gif from?

Turn based is alright. I just have no patience for random encounters

Breath of Fire 4

Breath of Fire. Despite hating JRPGs i highly recommend those series.

If you want a game that will make you appreciate basic turn based combat then play either Etrian Odyssey 5 or Xcom Enemy Unknown

that looks soulful

Why force yourself?

Should I play BOF 3 or 4?

Breath of Fire IV, a visual masterpiece and the story is cool although for some reason I have never beaten it.

Play turn-based games that require you to position your units as well as choosing their attacks. Those games actually require strategy, unlike most RPGs with turn-based combat which are glorified rock-paper-scissors matches.

I absolutely love the angle being used. I think more JRPGs should have it.

Is the PSP version of 3 good?

It's the definition of soul. You can use different party members as the main npc you control while wandering and they all have different abilities like the blonde chick with wings can fly up in the sky to help you navigate the area, there's a robot that headbutts shit so you can knock items out of trees, etc
