What would you want from Portal 3 anons?
Cameron Torres
Dominic Howard
Portal puzzles.
Ryan Johnson
More cake is a lie xD
Angel Smith
A release.
David Sanchez
guns
Daniel Wright
Ratmann's crazy adventure on the moon.
Nathaniel Perry
Actual puzzles and not a 4 hour cinematic experience which lets you take semi regular breaks to shoot portals on walls and """solve puzzles"""
Eli Nguyen
chell walks home i guess cause the story was already ended in portal 2 and there is no point for portal 3
Ryan Davis
Anthony Sanchez
Nothing. The series ended on a high note and I'd prefer to keep it that way. The portal mechanics on the other hand can be explored further in HL3.
Christian Johnson
Kek.
Jace Reyes
A sex scene where chell fingers herself through a portal in a mirror room.
Justin James
I don't think I'd want a portal 3.
I wouldn't mind seeing Chell and Aparture stuff get involved in the mainline though.
Coop game with Chell +Alyx/Gordon would be nice.
Daniel Davis
Wouldn't everyone just fuck their own assholes?
Nathan Sanders
VR exclusive with FStop
Jack Allen
New villain that’s not Glados or Wheatley, though having them at least appear would be nice
Michael Carter
We won't be getting any proper sequels to any Valve games until Artifact 2 comes out. The best we can hope for are short little spin-offs like Alyx.
Kevin Morgan
More Half-Life connections.
Tyler Carter
Gordon having steamy sex with Chell on the Borealis because Gman stole Alyx while Barney and Shepard are fighting the Combine
Kevin Davis
Has anyone made a multiplayer shooter that uses the portal gun mechanic? It sounds like it could be interesting but also maybe not viable for a balanced and fun game.
Grayson Williams
Nothing, as games don't need endless sequels. People like you are why the industry is so shit right now. You play a game, and you don't even stop to think why you enjoyed it, you just clench your dorito dust crusted fist, bash it against your desk, and cry out for a sequel.
Tyler Adams
Never to happen. It's story has come to an end.
William Parker
More
>you can place your portal everywhere as nearly everything is a portal surface
and less of the retarded
>whoops everything but the point where you have to put your portals is black, can you figure out what to do?
thing Portal 2 did for most of the game.
Lucas Stewart
>the retarded casual
>the butthurt retard who cries whenever a character speaks for more than 5 seconds
Ah, the duality of man.
Juan Lewis
Nothing. I just want more Portal and I got that from Portal 2 mods.
Matthew Jenkins
to wait over 16 years for it
Brayden Cooper
are you trolling or a retard lacking the most basic reading comprehension? they both made essentially the same point, the game is too easy and narrative driven. sure is isolation in here
Carson Allen
An isolated story that offers more lore to the ip. Seriously I would enjoy long ass series if they weren't a left and right timeline stretch. Fill the timeline in with more content and world building, don't extend the events of the main story or add more shit before it. Halo ODST was a perfect example of making a game within a timeline that adds more meat but doesn't forward and pull on the story's timeline.
David Cooper
More puzzles and test chambers/equivalent, less walking simulator and spot-the-moonrock-panel shit
or just incorporate it into full fledged fps
if the vr alyx games needs teleporting, why not use portals for that
Adrian Kelly
now that valve has proven what they're capable of in 2020 thanks to Alyx, I want them to NEVER MAKE ANOTHER VIDEOGAME EVER AGAIN.
Alexander Parker
Portal combat.
Adam Torres
>those guys are retardid lul
Blake Gonzalez
No Portal 3. Just move the portal mechanics into Episode 3.
What's the deal with Half Life now anyway? Was the end of Alyx implying that they are going to continue the main series as a standard mouse+keyboard game while alternate timeline Alyx goes on VR adventures or something?
Liam Reed
Half Life is always about cutting edge techs, I doubt they will continue the series without VR
Daniel Morales
Wheatley to come back and have a happy ending.
Ryan Foster
how that would work? very narrow walls? if you thrust with all your virile might, you ass would move forward and you wouldn't reach
why the fuck i'm thinking about this shit
Evan Diaz
F-STOP.
Portal 2 was a higher-budget rehash of Portal 1. They already squeezed everything they can from the portal concept. Give us something new!
Mason Campbell
It's true but I just feel like Gordon's doomguy-tier antics belong in a standard fps rather than VR. Unless they just plan on retconning and continuing to follow VR Alyx for the rest of the main series, but if they did that, why even make the point to show the end of Ep 2 and let you kill the advisor to prevent it? Alex's ending was good but it confused me as to what Valve meant with it.
Joshua Bailey
left for dead 3 instead
Noah Flores
>It's true but I just feel like Gordon's doomguy-tier antics belong in a standard fps rather than VR
Like I said, HL is always about cutting edge techs. HL2 was slower than HL1. It's not surprising that they changed the formula again with VR.
It's pretty clear that Alyx is part the main series. It's a prequel with the punchline is that it's actually a sequel after all.
>why even make the point to show the end of Ep 2 and let you kill the advisor to prevent it
So that G-Man can replace Gordon with Alyx as his agent. It's pretty much inline with what Laidlaw wanted from what was written on Epistle 3
Jonathan Adams
If they're really making one then I want to see how hugely Johnson fucked up with his little experiment and how managed to beat both the US and an alien civilization.
Hudson Scott
So what happens with Gordon then? They just pretend he doesn't exist anymore?
Christian Thomas
You were talking about the ending of Alyx and didn't knew what happened to Gordon?
